August 9th Cruisers

Anyone receive their docs yet? We always cruised a week later and usually had the docs by now. Respond if you have gotten yours, just makes the trip seem real when you have the paper work in front of you. Thanks.

Our documents arrived for 9 August cruise on 5 July. Makes it that much closer to reality!

We (my son and I) haven't gotten ours yet either. Neither has my sister and her husband, nor my best friend and her family! I hope they show up soon! It's less than 4 weeks now! --Katrina

Bumping up, still no docs. Cornhogio, how did you get so lucky to get the docs on the 5th? DCL said ours were not sent out.

We got ours a week or so ago. We are sailing on DVC points - could it have to do with who you booked through?

We booked thru DU and they called DCL for me on Friday and the docs were not sent out. DCL said that the docs are not all sent at the same time. This is our 3rd cruise booked with DU and our docs have always come 5 to 6 weeks out. Don't know what the hold up is, but I know it is not DU fault.

We also booked with DU (in early '02) and have not received our documents. A friend that is traveling with us booked with a different company and received her documents today.

3 weeks out and STILL waiting - anyone else?

No docs - this is driving me crazy, we have never waited this long. Other times the ship was full and the docs came early. I know right after final payment there were still all grade cabins available because I checked the DCL site, put in for a quote. So maybe they are still trying to fill the ship with CM's and moving people around. I know someone said they got their docs July 5th, if you are reading what CAT did you book? What CAT did some of you who are waiting book? We booked a CAT9.

We are CAT6, reservations were made 4/2002 with DU.

Just bumping - want close to top so when the docs start coming you can reply quickly! I'm at work so I want to know how fast I have to drive home!

We're on the Aug 9 Magic too, glad to know that we're not the only ones who haven't gotten our docs yet. I've been starting to get worried. Last year when we went on the Aug 10 Magic we had our docs the last week of June!

I checked with DU, and their response from DCL was that most cruise docs will go out 10 days to 2 weeks before sailing, sent by parcel post. So, no problem yet.

Still no documents for us. Called DU yesterday. DCL told DU that our documents are printed, but have not been mailed. DU told me that usually means that our documents should go out in 1-2 days. I hope they are right. We are leaving before the 8/9 cruise to spend a few days at the Swan.
