Vickie, thanks so much for finding and posting the new timer ! I'll have to have Brynee choose the colors when she has time...she is much better at that than I am!!

Cathy: Brynee should know a lot of "Beauty and the Beast" songs by cruise time. She's hoping to be "featherduster" but will probably be a dance lead - either way, she knows she'll have a wonderful time as it'll be a complete Disney summer .

Did you guys hear about that cruise ship the Norwegian Dawn that got hit with the 70 foot wave? It was heading back to NYC from Miami I think and it was just one freak wave that broke some windows and flooded 60 cabins. No one got hurt other than 4 people with cuts and bruises. They refunded everyone 1/2 their cost and gave them vouchers for 1/2 off another cruise. About 300 of the 2500 passengers opted to fly home, but the ship stopped in Charleston and then went on to NYC...

That would be so scary to wake up to a room full of water It was 2 cabins in the aft section of Deck 10 that had the balcony doors swept open by the rogue wave! I'm glad we'll just have a porthole that's obstructed to begin with ! They were very fortunate that no one was badly injured.

LOL - it drives my DH crazy. He is continually amazed at how little I know about history. I absolutely hated the subject in school. Having a paranoid schizophrenic history teacher in high school didn't help.

She did get an IM and an email last night, she was answering back when I went to bed. Thank you so much, I think they have things in common. They may both be in a play the weekend before we leave. I am glad Brynee likes Disney. Last cruise Jess bought a songbook of all Disney songs which she loves to sing. She was going to do a Pocahontas song for a talent show but it got cancelled.

DD is currently working on Colors of the Wind this semester with her voice teacher. She's really quite good - maybe we can arrange a duet on the cruise?

I saw a brief snippet about that in the paper. How scary. Honestly, I'm surprised they refunded any of the passengers' money.

Wow...I didn't know the damage to the Dream was on Deck 10! Yikes! I had thought that it was a much lower deck. So much for thinking that I'm always on 7 or 8, so that would be safe!

Stacey since you opened this can of worms I will let you reveal what the initials stand for. Although it might be funny/interesting to see what others would come up with.

I never knew about the Key Lime Sweetie Pie. I guess that's because I keep telling you when I make them and you don't get to enjoy them. I keep telling you if you show up here I will make all you want. I really need to go buy more key lime juice, I'm almost out . That's almost unheard of in my house.

Jenny, our local ABC7 is doing a Disneyland promotion for May 4 also and I've already entered it as well as one a local radio station is doing for 3 days at Disneyland to include May4th. I'll check out your KTLA one also!

It comes from a joke Barb sent me.....but it is true that she is ALWAYS making homemade Key Lime Pie......and she KNOWS I would kill for Key Lime Pie........

You really won't think her nickname is as funny as I did. There was a sign outside a restaurant advertising their special dessert of the day, but they had limited space on their sign...so it said:
