Eve you weren't kidding when you said you took notes. The list is impressive, aside from the DH mix-ups.

Do you have to pay off your balance to make your REAS reservations? How soon can you make those (90 days prior?)

Courtney: Could you please let us know your MIL's name so we can add it to our list? Is she also from CA? We live in the CA's Central Valley where it has been freezing :cold:

and rainy these past 3 days! DH and Brynee are at their tennis match and I'm staying warm online

I called the # posted on the DCL website and the castmember told me I can't access my reservation from the site because I booked through a TA. I wish they would have told my AAA TA the same! Anyway, the CM also said that if an e-mailed request for a shore excursion is sent in, it will be processed at the 90 day mark if the cruise is paid in full. My TA will call in at that time to check and re-confirm the "dolphin swim" for Brynee.

Just received a confirmation for an "independent" shore excursion for Mazatlan. Brynee and I will be going with Randi's Happy Horses to Stone Island - water taxi, and about a 1 1/2 hour horseback ride with time for lunch at Victor's and beach time too :bounce:

There are also "banana boats" there although I don't have the slightest idea what they are :confused3

Randi's does small group excursions, usually less than 20 people, and she is very highly recommended on the CruiseCritic boards! They confirmed my request in less than a day :sunny:

If you need more info or are interested, let me know. The price is $45 US (lunch is on your own).

Hi everyone,

Jenny, my MIL name is Joy. She lives in Austin, Texas. She is going to be flying in the Thursday before the cruise and returning the Sunday after the cruise. We are lucky that she is able to go with us. She only gets to see the kids once or twice a year. We thought it would be a special if we took her along so we could have quality time as a family. As for being cold, I live up in the high desert and the winds are around 45 mi/hr so I understand about being trying to keep warm.

Today though we went to LA to take our DD to see "The Wiggles" in concert, so it was nice to get a wind break.

Hi everyone. We had a real nice weekend in CT, around 70 degrees and sunny :sunny:

DD's play was good, they got a lot of laughs and had loads of fun. Glad all the rehearsals and after school pick-ups are over though.

She would love to live at your house, you have a boy that lives there and a pool. If you had a basketball net then she would be in heaven. She's gotten into playing basketball with the boys behind us and the boys up the street.

Cathy - I agree about chauffeuring to rehearsals and performances! I'm always relieved when a production is over. Brynée was in her school's spring musical and just auditioned for a community production of "Beauty and the Beast!" She has a call-back next week

The performances will be held the weekend before the cruise! I had some time to read through older posts and I'll PM you once I know Brynée's IM screen name and her Xanga. Does Jessica have a Xanga? They should have a lot in common with play productions and music.

Stacey and Barb: I didn't know we were swapping kids! :rotfl:

I'll just take either of your DDs as Brynée has always wanted a younger sister (or brother for that matter!)

Jenny.....you may have opened your home up to a lot of younger brothers and sisters for Brynee :rotfl:

We'll come visit and send Disney Dollars every so often. Plus, you can send Alexa upstate for breaks so she can visits friends.

I guess I'm going for the mean mom award now.
