Hi Vickie - I had to have a windshield replaced by the dealer as they chipped my windshield while replacing wipers! You'll want to drive it on a freeway as soon as you get it back and check for wind noise. It was a 2000 Explorer and we had our tires changed out as soon as blow-outs were in the headlines even though we had the larger/wider tires on it. Anyway, if there is more wind noise than when you first drove it, keep making them make adjustments...replacements are usually not as airtight as the originals. On our other SUV, we had to have a side window replaced the first day we got it as the salesman used a razor blade to take off the sticker price sheet and he scratched up the tinted window!!! Cars, and dealer workmen, can be such a headache!! After the windshield fiasco, we sold our Explorer!!
We will probably be going to DL fairly often as we like to see the Christmas decor and we do plan to go after the bd celebration officially begins. Brynee and I can post some tips or must sees.
Have a great weekend everyone!
