Hi - I missed this before! I'm going to be on the 8/3/15 Wonder to Alaska. There will be 8 of us. Me and my family (DH, DD that'll be 13 and DS that'll be 10), my parents and my parents friends. We went on our first cruise, Fantasy Western last year, and are sooo excited to get to celebrate our 20th anniversary on the Wonder in Alaska - a bucket list item for us all.

Looking forward to seeing more people join this thread!

Hi! Just gave deposit! My family are going plus a couple friends of mine. Had no desire in the past to see Alaska but had a good friend of mine go last year and rave about it. So now can't wait!

We have booked on this cruise, and are super excited. Even though it is still more than a year away I have already started the countdown There will be four of us: Me, DH, DS and DD.

This will be our first cruise so we don't really know what to expect but there seems to be lots of good reading on this board. Given this is a Disney cruise I am sure it will be wonderful - I LOVE all things Disney!

WE got off the Magic last Thursday after a 12 night cruise around the Med and Greek Isles.
Whilst on-board we booked this cruise (and the one the week before) to give us a 14 day Alaska cruise.

Hi Gary, Sounds like your family really enjoy Disney Cruises. I love when I look through the boards that there are so many people who have had lots of cruises with Disney - it gives me confidence that this will be a great trip for my family.

I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on dress codes for the dining rooms.

I have read plenty of stuff about dress codes but I am not clear since there seems to be a lot of varying information. Would we be able to wear say dark denim (black or blue) and maybe a casual shirt? Or do we need to be more dressed up than that?

Just joining in! I booked the cruise a few months ago (used our OBB for the discount) but finally purchased airfare and insurance today. Guess that means we are going for sure

This will be our 4th Disney cruise but first to Alaska. My name is Jen and I am a single mom to Amanda who will be 9 when we cruise. Counting down the days to our vacation!

We are planning on flying to Vancouver on July 31st and going to see the Taylor Swift concert on the 1st! Should be fun to do that and sightsee for a couple of days before embarking on the Wonder. We have sailed the Magic and the Fantasy so are curious to see how the Wonder compares.

In looking at hotel rooms they are crazy expensive that weekend since it is a Canadian holiday weekend. I managed to find rooms at the Hyatt a few blocks from the port for $150 a night so I was thrilled with that! Wanted to stay at the Pan Pacific but its been sold out for months for our dates.

Can't wait to get to know you all better. Only 242 days until we set sail

If anyone has any must see sights in Vancouver or Alaska, please share!

I have done a Caribbean cruise and will be going on the Bahamas cruise next year. We plan on booking an Alaskan cruise while on the ship. Any advice on which itinerary is best for a first time Alaskan cruise?

It is my understanding that all the Disney Alaska cruises have the same itinerary except for maybe the first one of the season. If I am wrong, hope someone chimes in

I am looking at doing Harv and Marvs whale watching in Juneau. But, since my daughter is only 9, we have to do a private tour.

Is there anyone on our cruise that would like to join us? For a 4 hour custom tour, the price would be about $150 per person if we get 3-4 more to join us.
