Have we gotten an answer to how many rooms are in the fe?

I know several of us listed more than one room.....am I the only one with two rooms but one fish extender??

It would make it much easier to plan the gift for each room if I knew how many rooms exactly.

We also have 2 Rooms but only 1 FE. I put that down on the Facebook list just in case.

I'm not sure about the total number of staterooms but thought I would add that we too have only one FE for the brilliant person who has figured out the total at this point.

Hi everyone,

Getting closer and closer to our much anticipated cruise soon we will be down to double figures which will be lovely.

I have started to do some serious planning now for the Fish Extender gifts. This is our first time participating in an FE so want to make sure I get it right!

I am not on Facebook though my daughter Rachel (16) is hoping to join via her F/B page and hopefully she will also be able to join the teen FB group.
I have compiled a list of everyone participating in the FE by age according to the following categories:
Men
Women
Teenage girls (13+)
Teenage boys (13+)
Tween girls (8-12)
Tween boys (8-12)
Younger girls (7 and under)
Younger boys (7 and under)

I then added the totals so far to help me start to get an idea of numbers needed in each category and we have so far...

12 men
18 women
9 teen girls
5 teen boys
5 tween girls (8-12)
8 tween boys (8-12)
2 younger girls (aged 6 and 7)
2 younger boys (aged 2 and 4)

Plus I have 3 people that I am not sure whether they are boys/girls
(Sidney and Sholeh both aged 12) and Jackie who I am not sure about.


For those doing 1 gift per stateroom I make it currently 22 staterooms.


This is definitely going to help me with my FE planning. I know that these figures may well change between now and then but it is a good starting point. If anyone spots any errors or can let me know about the 3 unknown genders then let me know too. If anyone would like the word document emailed to them then let me know via PM.

We have 2 staterooms and 2 FEs just because my girls wanted their own. we are giving individual gifts to every person but I would be quite happy to receive one gift for our family. I will throw some chocolate into my kids fe myself which will make them quite happy!

Can anyone confirm what day and time exactly I need to log in to try and get an early boarding time etc. We are silver CC members.

Thanks! I think since you are in FL that it would be midnight (Sat night/Sun morn) to log in.

We will have two FEs and will be giving separate gifts from both staterooms. That is my plan anyway.

FISH EXTENDER GROUP

Let me just give an example, for our last cruise it was just DH and I. I wanted to make something a little more costly and time consuming that hopefully most people would be able to use/share so I made only one gift per stateroom. I made a tote bag filled with some local candy (salt water taffy from the great salt lake).

Individual gifts are also great and can be smaller. I'd love to see examples of what you have done in the past (unless you are doing it again)

Does this mean we aren't getting cute bags like this?? I know whatever you make will be FABULOUS!! I can't wait!

I'm beyond excited too! I really can't believe that we'll be on our cruise in less than 3 months. Unbelievable! I'm counting down the days!

Thanks for the heads-up! I didn't realize I could check in before I made final payment. Got an 11am time!! Love having the Internet on my phone - was able to take care of it while waiting for Kate to finish 1 field hockey session so I can drive her to the next one. Almost makes me wish she had her license....

FE update - kinda

I didn't count cabins, but did do an update on numbers for the kids. If I counted properly (had to stop & start a few times) & using the initial breakdown, we have:
9 teen girls
8 teen boys
6 tween girls
12 tween boys
2 younger girls
3 younger boys
