I really need to read all of the post before putting stuff out there. My suggestion for a $1.00 was when I thought the cost was 80 cents a piece for the bracelets. Upon further reading I see that it went up to 90 cents with the logo.

Whatever price you want us to go with is fine with me

I think we should go ahead as a group and get the bracelets. We could hand them out at during our meet at 3pm (location TBA). They will make a nice "little souvenir".

The theme of the cruise is "Mickey's So Long Summer". It might be nice to have that printed on them depending on the price. 80 cents each for the lime green is a really good deal (plus s&h). Lime green is the official color of the Disboards.

Do you think 100 is enough or too many?

I bet Waltworshiper would have a better idea based on the FE list.

There are 120 total people involved in the FE, 58 adults 62 kids. There are a few families on the list that don't chat and probably would not want the bracelets and will probably not attend our meet either, but still want to do the FE. From the replies I've seen so far, I don't think you will have problems getting 100, looks like in the upper 50's are wanted at this point, and not everyone has seen the posts yet. It looks like 11 families from the FE have responded and 2 that are not particiapting have responded. There are about 28 families, (some are extended families with 2 rooms each delivering)involved in the FE, and I know there are several regular posters here that are not in the FE, but would want them. I really don't know what to tell you about how many to order. If you want, you can send a pm out to the other families on the list that haven't responded yet, you can type up to 5 names at a time in the pm, it's up to you. The list is on p 86 if you need it.

That sounds good. The one thing I noticed is that there are 2 sizes. Adult and Youth. I will check back at Waltworshiper's posts for counts. Once I get the count's and we all agree on color,wording,debossed,embossed,color filled or printed I can pull the trigger. Of course Ill order few extra for the last minute planners. Just throwing this out there but the glow in the dark might be a hit with the little ones.

I just checked the site out you had for the bands. It looks like the sale they are having ends today. It looks like you will have to take an educated guess at how many to order. On the FE list there are only 3 or 4 cabins that don't participate in our chats, I don't know if that will help or not, but the others all seem to chime in here from time to time. I know that's not much help, but it's all I've got right now.

I did chocoalte bars for my last FE and brougt it in our carry ons. I had no problems, terminal had a/c and we ate at PC so we were able to keep it cool prior to getting into our rooms. We also bought some asstd choc bars for the CM's and that too survived.

We're in for the fabulously fashionable bracelets.

We generally bring a couple of boxes of movie candy and we've never had a problem with melted chocolate (jr mints are a favorite) Of course we've never sailed in Aug before either.

I pulled up the new DCL site and the Only 32 days until your cruise sets sail bit elicited more "Oh no, I'm not ready" than "Woo hoo, I'm excited"

So I've got my handy folder from last cruise and all my notes, paperwork, etc for this cruise scattered across my table and I'm going to attempt to at least get somewhat more organized and nail down travel plans today.

No worries Jan, still no plans to pack though.

I think I may try to add a couple of days pre-cruise at US/IOA. It will mean DD (10 turning 11) will have to spend her birthday in an airplane flying across the country, but the end result should be worth it... yes?

What about chocolate in your suitcase? Too riskey?

If you put it in your suitcase, you don't know how long it will sit in the heat. It will be especially hot in August, I wouldn't chance the suitcase, or you may have one big glob of melted chocolate

100 shouldn't be a problem. There will definitely be kids that are too you to wear one and ones that won't wear one. Cigy7-thanks for being in charge of this!
