I am glad to see my DD (13) will have company in Ocean Quest . I must say I am feeling nervous about having herself sign in and out and being able to leave anytime. I plan on making it very clear that she is to stay in OQ or our stateroom or come where we will be. I like the idea of having a dry erase board and leaving notes so we all know where we are.

That's my plan as well, we're just going to use text to keep in touch. I just feel limiting her to just OQ, or our room is unrealistic. I'm sure she's going to want to go to the arcade, or get smoothies with her new friends, so I'll allow that as long as I'm TOLD before. Trust me she's been read the riot act already and will plenty of more times before we board. I"ve told her that if she breaks ANY of the rules we've set forth for her, her OQ privledges IMMEDIATELY get suspended and she's to hang with mom and dad for the rest of the trip. She's not too thrilled with that concept, so I'm hoping this works for us.

So now that the whole reservation debacle from over the weekend is over. What did everyone get....

Alone Time Spa Treatment in the spa villas for 2:00 Monday couldn't convince Darren to do the couple treatment

Palo Brunch 11:30 Thursday
Jet ski tour on Castaway Cay 2:00

I got everything I wanted. Days for Palo are switched, but times are what I wanted, so I"m pretty happy!!!

We ended up with High Tea on Sunday at 3 and Palo brunch on Thursday at 10:30. I wanted brunch on Monday. Oh well!

and the Doubloon sailing & snorkel for 8:15 on Wed(27 yo sons bday decided a few minutes ago to do this and the 12pm was booked, so he'll have to get up early on his bday)

I want to do High Tea, but hubby doesn't want to go. I went on this morning to snag a spot and then was going to bodily drag him if necessary, but it's now SOLD OUT!!! Hopefully more spots open up on the 15th when they open up for the rest of the guests on board....

Palo brunch on Sunday at 10:30 . . . Alone time the same day at 2 . . . Stingrays on CC at 10 . . . and a cabana massage at CC at 2 . . .

It was an annoying process but I am happy with the result -- my TA was actually able to get the Palo booking for me

It looks like there are 30 cabins participating 56 adults and 60 kids. We have a nice diverse group, moms, dads, grandparents, kids of all ages and even a 3mos old little guy! We also have several birthdays that I know of including a couple of special ones, 2 sweet 16 girls and a 40th bday!

If you still would like to join, it would be with the understanding that not everyone will deliver to your room. People need time to order/make things and may not have enough for the people that join late. There will still be some that will, but we cannot guarantee that everyone would. We don't want to deny anyone the Disney experience of the FE, so if you are ok with those terms, we would be glad to see your family still join. People joining after 6/21 will have their names listed in green, to distinguish them from people who joined earlier. Should anyone else join from now until then, I will update and post a new list. The absolutely final list will be posted on Aug 9th.

At this point, everyone below has responded that they will be on our cruise and participating.If you should get a surprise upgrade, or decide to upgrade at port or for any other change in rooms after some of us have left, put a note on my cabin 7022 and I will give out notes when I make the first delivery

You were able to reserve before the complete mess that was this past weekend. all of us stayed up until midnight on Sat night to get on to book, website was pretty much caput for the evening. We all then tried again in the AM after giving up after an hour, then nothing. A few of us called DCL in the AM and they took our info for Palo and said they'd make the ressies manually. Webiste was back up around noon on Sun, some of us were able to get in to make ressies, but there was a lot gone by then.

I am aware of the web mess on Sunday and felt awful for people.I tried to get in too. It happens way too much with DCL.

When I say odd one out, I mean I wanted Palo Brunch on Sunday and dinner on Wednesday. It seems like no one wanted those days.

For those who got shut out I can still arrange a private room for brunch, tea or dinner if you would like.

My original plan was to do Palo Brunch on Monday (late) and Dinner on Thursday. I was able to get dinner but brunch was a no go for Monday so I ended up booking for Sunday at 11:30. I didn’t want brunch to be too early as it might fall on the day we have our character breakfast. It’s always a possibility. Dinner was a hard choice to because we will be skipping the dinning room that day and didn’t want to do it on the first night, miss the Pirate menu, formal or have it fall on the night of the light show in Animators. I may still try to get Brunch changed to Monday when I board, if it works then great and if not I am happy with what I got.
I am all for doing Palo Tea as a group

We're leaving(on 8/22) a week before, AND my brother is getting married the night before we leave. I'll be busy preparing for that before we leave. So if you could get the final list up at least 3 weeks before, I'd be eternally grateful. I'd like to have a couple of weeks to make sure I have everything.

Except I goofed and forgot we were already 90 days out.
I got final payment all squared away late Sunday afternoon, but by then all brunch times were gone. Darn! That was the only thing I was concerned about trying to book early. Oh well, hopefully we'll still be able to snag a spot, and if not I guess it's not a complete deal breaker.

Anyway... we're a small group this cruise:
