I caved in and booked a stay at the new Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary Resort for the week before the cruise (8/23-8/29) after saying that I would be skipping WDW for 2009.

Now that I have decided on the trip, I am shopping for the airfare. Hope to have it booked soon like you.

I also have to decide whether to get tickets at all this trip. My AP has expired. I was originally thinking of only doing the water parks (old plus options left) but DH was wicked in taunting me saying, "but you can walk to the MK and you are not going in?!!"

Anyone else going to be in the World before the cruise and want to get together?

This will be the first cruise I have ever taken where I just come in the day before, stay at the airport, and leave from the ship to go back to the airport . . . usually we do WDW either before or after, but not this time.

Welcome to our group I have a DS11, DS10, and DS6. They know they are going on another DC, we just haven't told them when yet. I have them convinced they have figured it out and it is sometime in January. I'm an evil mom, loving every minute of torturing my children. If your interested in joining the FE group, there is a post back on page 27 post 398, just let me know!!! Kids are having a snow day today, and driving mommy crazy wanting to get out there to play. This is our first real snow of the season!

My DH worked a double yesterday and had to stay at the airport Sheraton along with some mechanics, just in case! Gotta keep those planes flying!!!

We tried out Aquatica last August and loved it. We had the 14 day (?) 2-park unlimited tickets and mostly went in the late afternoon. Went maybe 3-4 times? After the mad crowds were leaving.

We are going to try the Disney water parks this trip, I think.

25 weeks and counting

It looks like the Northeast will have a little warm up this weekend. I have watched the Disney Cruise Line show on the travel channel so much that I know the dialogue

So I decided that this weekend I will pull out my handycam and look at my personal videos of the two cruises I took on the Disney Wonder. I can't wait to see the Adventures Away party

I expected Dream or "Dreams" but Fantasy came out of nowhere. I was hoping for Wishes.

Dreams gets my thumbs up. It's the name of the show at sea.

Fantasy is a flop! Carnival already uses it. Fail Captain Mickey!

Wishes was my choice.

I think cruise lines all pick names from the same pool of names. There must be a hefty fine if they deviate. Lol.
