Are we going to have a cut off date for new families joining the FE? I only ask because some of the things I am making take some time to make. I was thinking if I just make 1 or 2 extra maybe I would be good either way, but as I'm super new at this...I'm just not sure!

Also, does anyone have any food allergies (nuts, etc). If I bring treats, I don't want to have someone not be able to enjoy them!

Yes, there will be/is a cut off date for new families to join, which will be July 31st!
Tom and I have personalized gifts and we leave Austria on August 11. So to give us all ample time to get everything ready we will need to close our FE at an early date.
And like you, one of our gifts takes a little time to finish.

And since you asked - no allergies here!

Hi all!!

We just booked this cruise. Just two of us- me Joanne and DH Roger. Our kids are grown and on their own!!!! I can't wait to see the Dream!! We have been on the Wonder & Magic.

I just finished reading the whole thread. This is a small group? Where is everyone staying the night before? Are there any meets set up?

dizneeat- we were in your beautiful country in December. Our youngest is in the air force stationed in Germany. So we did a two week see as much as we could vacation. Germany, Austria, France, Luxenburg & Prague!!

Can't wait to meat every one!!

Did you want to join in on the Fish Extender exchange? Right now I think there are 6 families on the list.

This is our first Disney Cruise (and first cruise ever!) excited and nervous at the same time as Im not comfortable with boats/ships but everyone tells me once I'm on it I will be fine. Hoping they are right as I want this to be a wonderful experience for my family.

Can't wait to meet up! We are in stateroom 7616, where will you be?

Welcome to this cruise, Joanne!
You are going to LOVE the DREAM - such a beautiful ship. This will be our 9th cruise with Disney - 6th on the DREAM. We have been on the Wonder too.

This seems to be a really small group, but I am keeping up hope that there will be some more joining in late.
We are travelling to the Florida Keys for a week, then staying at the CR and OKW for a week before this years cruises. This will be the second leg of a back to back for us.

And I am so glad you enjoyed Austria!!! It's a pretty small country, but there is lots to see and so much history to explore.

Can't wait to see you on board.

The GTY staterooms usually get assigned 1-2 weeks before sail date. Keep checking on the cruise planning site. When you sign in it will have your stateroom number once assigned.

Thanks, the link worked. Your kids will love it. Mine still keep in touch with a few they met in 2002. They should go the first day to the teen club and check it out. Back then they even had a teen only excursion. There used to be a teen beach on Castaway but they needed the space once the ships got bigger!!

I live in Central Jersey - Cream Ridge it's right next to Great Adventure Park.

I was born in Long Island and my mom's family is still all there. having them all here for a big family reunion July 28! Once I get through that weekend then my planning for the cruise will begin.

Trying to come up with ideas for gifts for the FE. My 13 year old daughter is excited about it. We are going to make our own FE, not sure how it will turn out, but she can't wait to work on it.

Its been several weeks since I have checked in and had several pages of reading to do. Welcome to everyone joining us. We booked this cruise almost 2 years ago when it was first released.
I also just sent a friend request on the facebook group. My family is getting very excited to get on the Dream once again and have another magical holiday while meeting some news friends from all over!

Hi!

I have put you on the FE list. Glad you decided to join. We always do it, even though we are just two adults travelling, because it is so much fun and you get to see parts of the ship we would normally not go to. (Got lost handing out gifts on the Wonder one time and found a "secret" sundeck. )

Please let me know your stateroom assignment as soon as you know it. Tom and I will have been travelling for more than 2 weeks before the cruise and I do not know how much internet access we will have to post the numbers on my site. But then, we always have travelled before cruises and we have always had all the stateroom numbers before we left the country.

Hope you got Palo! It is one of our favourite things to do on the DREAM and WONDER, both dinner and brunch!
