Hi guys!!
You know, I can understand Jeff's feelings. I know we've been mixing in talk about the new cruise with talk of the old cruise, but in time, I know that most of our posts would include EVERYONE and would have to do with the new cruise. When I replied to him in the thread, I was trying to explain our excitement, hoping he'd understand, and be tolerant. I honestly don't think anyone is saying anything to make any of the "newcomers" to feel out of the "club", as he put it. It's like anything else, or anyplace else on the internet; when you enter a situation where many of the people already know each other, at first you feel like an outsider, but the more you participate, the more you get to know them, the more they get to know you, and the fact that you weren't there from the start fades away. Believe me, I have been online for well over 10 years, I know how it is to join a chat room, a channel (anyone remember IRC?? LOL), or a message board's thread. I didn't get that vibe from any of the other new people. In fact, Dori and someone from California are planning to meet at
Disneyland next summer! I think that is awesome

Also, at this point, with the cruise being SO far away, if we weren't talking about our old cruise and plans for the new cruise, what else would we be talking about? I am sure that Jeff is a decent person, and before long we'll forget who was on the Aug 28th cruise and who wasn't, but in the meantime, I just want to step back from the new thread. Sometimes I have a quick reaction and I just didn't want to say something on the thread that I might regret later, or that might cause someone to feel badly. I'd rather step back then say something that could be mean, to someone else. I just didn't like his comment about us "taking over the thread". We're ALL allowed to post anything and everything that we want to.
Ok, this is long enough. Sorry. LOL
*HUGS TO ALL OF MY OLD FRIENDS!!!*
