DS5 and I will be flying down a few days early and staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge before the cruise. DW and DS12 will be joining us at AKL on Friday.

For those who booked Radisson, have you tried to book a shuttle time yet? Did you book the special cruise package or the internet rate?

Karel, I booked the $94 FL rate. No penalties etc like the internet rate.

Some have booked the shuttle already.

Are you staying at the Radisson? If so let me know so I can put it down on page 1.

Not a problem, It will be nice to see who is staying where. so we can all meet. It use to be either a WDW property or the Radisson, Now that Ron Jon is in the picture there actually may be a group staying there.

We will be at OKW the night prior to the cruise.

Question for prior cruisers: Rental car...how do I rent at the airport and turn it in near the cruise? We have always driven down and have never been on the cruise.

We rented from Budget at the airport because we are staying at the Contemporary the day before the cruise. and are turning it in near the port. When we return we are then renting near the port and turning it in at the airport later that day.

Lyn...Are you staying at the Contemporary or the Polynesian the day before the cruise? I have the Contemporary on page 1 as that is what you said, did you switch to the Poly?

No I am not at the Polynesian. I usually stay there but I went with the Contemporary because I could get a better price. I wrote Polynesian by habit. Thanks for noticing I just corrected it.

Weeks are starting to fly by now. We've decided to do Disney Transportation back to the Airport from the ship; it's a few more $$ then a car; but we feel it's far easier. So for about $40 more we're going to go for it.

Hi Guys - another week closer to our cruise.... did any of you guys book the CA-FL repo cruise.. We did and I know Jason & Travis did.

WTG on booking the CA to FL cruise. Too long a cruise for us, 14 days is too long for us, workwise and shipwise.

Have a great time!!! When you get on the ship, see how much it will be to book it onboard, although by that time it will probably be too late to even try to book it.

Joanna _ I can only imagine how much the price will be by the time we board in August -- I was very lucky - I had my reservation by 1:15 on Wednesday and got a great price so Im not even gonna try to do better... The current prices on the DCL website are $3600 more than I paid - UNBELIVABLE.

Im just glad I got what I did or my DH would have said "No way too expensive". Now I told him he better makes sure he tells everyone at work that when they pick vacations for next year in December he needs the last 2 weeks of August. or else Im going without him - LOL.
