I hope I've found the right place. We just moved our booking from Aug 19 to Aug 26. We are sooo excited, our first cruise as a family. My DH and I took a 3 day horrible Carnival cruise which was awful, so we don't even want to count it
It'll be DH, myself, ds14, dd8 and my parents.
Wanting to do FE. I am sure that's been discussed...? Is there a list or sign up for it?

I have a14 year old as well. They will be in the teen club onboard called The Vibe . It's great!

This is the right place and I see you've already signed up on the google doc. Will your parents be in a different stateroom than the rest of your family? If so make sure that their cabin # gets listed as well so we can get our FE gifts to the right rooms.

My parents are coming with us this time too. They loved our family reunion DCL cruise we did last year so much that they booked this Alaska cruise onboard and can't wait for their 2nd DCL cruise.

Having only done DCL before I am hesitant to try other cruise lines. Maybe when my DD is older we'll branch out.

Welcome!! It looks like we have a few multigenerational families in our group - we're travelling with my mom and stepdad in addition to our 13 year old daughter.

The FE is what you want it to be. In my limited experience (4 cruises where I participated in the FE exchange) most people gave gifts out 1 to 2 times during the cruise. One cruise we had one family that gave gifts every day. Do what makes you happy.

hi there cruising friends !! and a special welcome to the newcomers!! so glad to have you with us.

We are at Disney's Hilton Head Resort this week. Drove in the rain Friday and Saturday, but this afternoon the skies cleared up and the rain has gone away.
DH will play golf tomorrow and I will chill at the resort until he returns. Love it!!

After we return it will be full Alaska mode - not that it hasn't already been! I'm really excited about this cruise !! I think today is the #1 x 3 days until cruising day!! (that's 111 days - LOL)

Once you have joined the fb page, be sure to sign up for the FE exchange. since this is your first Disney cruise, you may want to read up on FE's - Fish Extender. It is lots of fun!

I love that there are so many first time Disney cruisers on board!! The first is so exciting! Who am I kidding....they are all exciting!

We are also celebrating our anniversary.
Let guest services know, and the night of your anniversary, they just might have a special treat waiting for you ( towels come mind...wink wink) or even a celebration piece of delicious desert in the dining room.
The customer service that Disney provides is truly over the top!
