Hi all,
Any plans for Nassau?
We are thinking about maybe going to Sandals (18 and over) for the day. It is 110 per person all inclusive. They have lots of great facilities including an off shore island with transfers included.
If the kids LOVE Oceaneer club we may consider this option. DS will love it but DD is another story... she is very shy. When we went on Carnival in January she refused to go to the club unless her brother was with her... Carnival won't allow the kids to mingle between the clubs even though the rooms are connected by a clear glass door and a wall of glass. They could stand their and look at each other through the glass but could not be together. We are so excited to be back on DCL because they will be together.
Our other options are:
Stay on the boat and visit the Rainforest room or do a spa package or ride the Aqua Duck.... you get the picture.
Walk to Junkanoo Beach
Cab or Water taxi to Cabbage beach
Walk to British Colonial Hilton
We keep changing our minds... I think we may just decide when we get there that day.
My fiance and I are getting married on the Disney Dream this October! The 14-18th trip. Anybody else going!? Look for me! I'll be the tattooed girl in white

Hi everyone! I am new to the DISboards and was just wondering what a FE is exactly??
Can't wait for my cruise, less than a month!!
28 daysWe're from Maine. This will be my 3rd Disney Cruise and my friend Brenda's 2nd cruise. We'd like to participate in the FE with you all - glad we made the deadline. We're in cabin 2021.
Pam
Welcome aboard. I am also a CM but I booked this cruise back in Jan 2011!!! I never can sail with the AMAZING CM rates because I need a HA room for my DD.Hey everyone!
I just jumped onto this sailing at a CM rate![]()
It will be me - 27
DH - 26
DF(friend) - 48
DM(mother) - 58
Kind of an odd mix, my husband, a friend, and my mom all on the same shipWe are in the process of finalizing things so I'll give more info when I know for sure who is coming.
Hubby, friend, and I will be quite interested in the night clubs/senor frogs, so if anyone is looking for a fun lady to hang out with, my mom would love to meet some of you!
more to come!
We did a quick tally... and I'd say anywhere from 15 - 20k.
BUT... if you look at the dock / depart times... I'd say the port will be empty after 2 pm.

Hi Everyone, we're from San Diego and this will be our first DCL cruise. My son is a CM and he was able to get a great deal on a verandah room so we could not resist. Both of our sons, ages 20 and 18 have been raised on Disney and we are all big fans. Luckily this cruise worked out with their two different university schedules so we are really excited to be doing this. Our last cruise was in 2005 on Carnival with another family so I'm sure this will be quite a different experience.
We're very much looking forward to Serenity Bay on CC and just relaxing on board.
See you soon!
Mike, Donna, Greg and Ryan
Welcome!
Glad you will be on the cruise as well.
You asked about the FE. It is a little gift exchange between DISboard members who have signed up for it. Like a Secret Santa kind of thing.
Outside your stateroom there is a fish/seahorse where DCL can leave you messages. On there you hang your extender - several pockets, one for every person in your family. Everyone who has signed up for FE exchange will leave you a present in the pockets during the cruise and you will do the same for them.
It is a fun thing to do!
If you google fish extender there are lots of pics!

Hello, I booked this cruise today; it was a last minute trip that I decided! I'm 20 and coming by myself but I'm super excited and hope to meet a lot of people and families
! This will be my first Disney cruise but I have cruised before! Cannot wait
!!!!
FE sound fun! I am still trying to learn all the abbreviations used on the boards. Thanks for the info!
Thank you for the welcome dizneeat! Much appreciated. Yes we are super excited. We are flying out the 21st and going to Universal IOA. We are Harry Potter fans too. Then we're visiting KSC and hoping to see the rocket launch that is scheduled for the morning of the 23rd. Then after a night stay at CIS its off to the port for a 12:30 arrival time. I'm still debating if we should arrive earlier.
We're also thinking of stopping by WDW before we fly bback so my CM son can ride their Star Tours. Then he gets home later that night he will stop by DL and ride that one too. Star Tours is one of the attractions he is CM for. Kind of a cool accomplishment to ride the same ride on the same day in two different parks on top of the fact that he turns 21 on that same day, the 29th!
See you soon!
Mike
Welcome!
I am sure you are going to enjoy cruising with Disney! We travel without kids as well and we just love it.![]()
