Hey everyone,
Here's our stateroom number: 8030.
Sorry I've been MIA for a while. Life got extremely busy in the past few weeks. Chaotic, but a good chaotic.
The biggest news is that I was asked to be assistant coach of DD's softball team. The league has been after me for years to be a coach but circumstances always prevented me from doing it.
This year I'm able to do it and I have to admit its been a lot of fun.
Girl Scouts is keeping me busy as well. We did our tent camping trip two weeks ago. It was fantastic. The weather was great and we had a really relaxing time. We actually ran out of time before we ran out of things to do.
One thing we learned is cooking over an open fire takes waaaay longer than you think. One of the families lent us their portable gas grill to use but we couldn't figure out how to use it properly so instead we cooked our dinner over a wood fire.
Another lesson.....voices carry when its quiet at night. We were split up into different tents and some of the girls were talking about each other and those of us in different tents could hear every word.
And of course.....pitch the tent on a flat surface. The entire field where we camped is on a slight incline and everyone kept sliding down in their sleeping bags all night long.
I can't believe its the middle of May already. We paid off the balance for the cruise.
I've never done Palo brunch so I'm really interested. If we get a group together I can call
DCL and probably be able to secure a private room. Just let me know which Sea Day we want to book.
By the way.....DH is British and we met while living in the suburbs of Philly so sounds like we'll fit right in with this group.
I think the Swine flu will be a thing of the past by the end of August. I will be extremely bummed if we can't make it to Cozumel.
