If you are going to flip your trip, you might see if there any return flights out of Burbank Airport.

What we actually ended up booking is:
8/1 Fly from East Coast to Vegas
8/2 Omega Mart
8/2 pm Fly into John Wayne
8/3 CA
8/4-8/6 DL
8/7 fly back to Vegas
8/8 fly back home

It worked out so much better flight-wise, and my son has been dying to do Omega Mart so he sees it as a decent trade-off for skipping Universal Hollywood

For those going in August did you buy the 70th ticket deal tickets? I'm waiting to buy until I have saved up more gift card money but worried this offer may sell out. Does that happen?

I bought the 4-day one-park-a-day Anniversary Ticket, but we purchased it through Undercover Tourist. We saved $100 total that way (for four people)

We will be there Aug 5, 6, 8 and 9 using the 4-day one-park-a-day Anniversary Ticket. We were supposed to go in May but the wife broke her ankle. When we moved the trip back we added a rest day for her and the family we are traveling with will also be 7 months pregnant at that time. We are flying into Ontario and out of Long Beach just based on flight times and ticket prices on SWA.

Still haven't decided which parks which days yet as we will have two four year olds with us so might focus on DL more. My little family went in Nov 2022 and Dec 2023 but the other family with us will be first timers.

Staying at Howard Johnson for the water park & pool to give the two kids something for our rest day but on trips past preferred the Hampton Inn near the Toy Story lot.

I hope to at least get one day in DL with Haunted Mansion up and running before it goes down for it's overlay!

Oh wow @mdmost, that is disappointing (if true). I know SG is pretty good, but has been wrong before. I guess it saves my family $60 or whatever since we always get sucked into buying the LL for it, but it's a fun ride!

My husband and I are planning our next visit August 13 - 16. We were last at DLR in March when we upgraded our 2-day tickets to Enchant Magic Keys. I have been in a hectic season at work, so we haven't had a chance to go back yet, but I'm planning this visit for the tail end of the Summer & 70th Celebration. The goal is to enjoy the nighttime entertainment, especially PTN! And eat all the summer snacks. We're driving from Phoenix on Wednesday the 13th, so we'll have 3 nights. We plan on getting a dining package for Fantasmic one night and catching PTN another night. The countdown is on - 10 weeks from tomorrow!
