Jumping in -- heading down to the Beach Club Villas Augus 15-22, breaking in our new DVC points, with my oldest DD (12) as a congratlations trip for her finishing elementary school. My SIL/BIL and their 3 kids will also be there from the 16-22 (3 of them at Beach Club, 2 at Shades of Green). Purchased our park tickets and airfare back in January, and got whole bunch of ADRs, plus the MK dessert party booked, and now it's just second-guessing. I know I'll need to make FP+ reservations before DD knows about the trip (she'll find out on June 18), too, and I've got them planned out. But I'm in that planning lull where there really isn't anyting to do, so I'm already thinking about when that NEXT trip might be!

Anyone else going bonkers trying to count down to August?? ADRs are made, airfare is set, still have a ways to go until we can book FP. I'm trying to keep it to myself so I don't make everyone around me sick of Disney before we go! I've been trying to listen to the park radio stations online... which helps... but it still seems like August is soon far away! I can't wait to walk down main street and wave hello to the castle!!

We USUALLY book the bounceback offer for free dining while in Disney. Last year was an exception though, everything that could go wrong did, including the car breaking down two times, each of which cost us over $1000. I wasn't sure I could spare the $200 to book, so we didn't.

Just last week, we finally booked on the room only discount offer. We are still waiting to see if the wife can get the time off approved, but we are expecting to be in the world from August 11 until August 23. ADR's . . . I was worried, we just booked last week, I was afraid we would have a difficult time, but the only ones that were touchy were Crystal Palace breakfast, which we settled for 8:20 am, and Rose and Crown dinner. We had hoped for 7:30 - 7:45 which is about perfect for staying to watch illuminations. Instead, we had to settle for 7:00, but this is life.

Now, I get to go nuts waiting for June 12th so I can schedule our FP+ lol.

We're booked at GF for Aug 15-20. So excited to stay at a monorail resort. The best part is that our friends who have a daughter our DD's age and a younger son will be staying at GF at the same time. Our two daughters are like peas in a pod..and they will be doing BBB together as well as dinner at the castle!! Neither of them know they are going yet - and it's going to be a big surprise when they both get to DW and find each other I'm so excited we are doing a bunch of things we didn't get to do on our last trip - CRT, more Epcot time, park hopping (we got the pin for free park hoppers with 5 day ticket) and MK. Still waiting on that BOG dinner reservation and then it will be the perfect trip!!!

I'm going to add to this thread.... This is our first time to Disney World. Between myself, my DW, DD7, and DS18mo, none of us have ever been to Disney World....ever.

We are going from Aug 7 - 14, arrive at 9:30 am from DFW, and don't leave on the last day till 8:50PM.... so we should have almost a full 8 days. Staying at AoA in one of the Little Mermaid rooms (DD7 is OBSESSED with Ariel). Have Memory maker and Standard Dining Plan

We currently have 1900 Park Fare, CRT, BOG Lunch x 2, H&V lunch, CM Breakfast, Coral Reef, and Rainforest Cafe Booked. Countdown has begun, and am ready to start making FP + for the trip
