August 2014 Anyone Else In?

Hi everyone,

I just had to change my ressies a little. Thanks to jet blue I had to add a night to disney. However, POR did not have the same room for one more night. I would have had to change rooms and DH would not have been happy for one night.

So, I decided to do a split stay with CSR for 3 nights. We love it there to so it will be fine.

Anyway, POR 8/2-8/7 CSR 8/7 to 8/10

Not sure if this is a one time thing or something that just isnt mentioned to the masses; due to my family and I staying club level, I gave the IPO my restaurant choices (since today was the 1st day of my ADRs), the IPO office made them all at 5:30 am; apparently, they get to access the system 30 min before everyone else!

So I didnt need to wake up super early. They just did it on the first day of making ADRs!!

We are staying at the Poly and I received an email from them saying they offer special services for club level guests. I gave them my ADR requests and they were able to put them through at 5:30am this morning.

We are paying $357, for club level a night; but we have an 3 adults and 3 kids; my agent said my MIL was an extra charge I think; I dont know about the 3 kids...

Ill be turning 30; and have been saving for my very first trip to Disney! Im excited!

I believe an extra adult is 25.00. That is a very good rate for the Poly CL. You are going to love it.

Whoop! We did it! Booked for Aug 3 - 10. It's Mardi Gras here, and I knew that my 180 day had passed in all the craziness. On Thursday I mentioned to the Hubs, Ya know, We really need to book this. His reply was go for it. Soooooo, I booked and then we headed out for Costco.

There was a nervous flutter as I pulled up the Disney app in the car. I knew that there was a Very Slim chance of scoring Be Our Quest Dinner adr's. Sunday, No. Monday, Nope. Tuesday, My stomach is sinking... Bam... YES !!! Booked!!! We also scored Crystal Palace (Me), Ragland Road (Everyone), Akershus Royal Banquet (For Daddy the Viking & Our Youngest), Sci-Fi Dine In (Oldest), Coral Reef (Our Boy) & Boma (Me, again). I can't believe we nailed our dining options down so painlessly.

This is our first Real vacation as a blended family and my stepdaughters first trip! So excited and happy to Make their Dreams Come True!

We are, we are!! Aug. 17-26. To celebrate my 30th birthday at the BC.

We are booked for BLT August 4-8, Vero Beach August 8-10, and BLT August 10-14.
Only one ADR at Chef Mickey's on August 6th to celebrate my youngest turning 1!
We probably will need to add one more night due to our flight back. I was thinking about Yacht Club or Beach Club since my oldest loves to swim. Any suggestions would be welcome.

We're in for August 28-Sept 2 at the Poly due to an insanely attractive agency package. Poly Club Level for a price we couldn't say no to, given we have 5-yr-old twins and we'll fully tale advantage of the lounge. Two things I thought I'd never do because of $$. Never say never! We're just doing a few APR's but got them all. My older kids have been, and we've stayed at Wilderness Cabins (love love) and AKL for too short a stay. This time we're enjoying the resort.

We have airfare for the beginning of August. I'm waiting for a resort discount to be offered before booking a room. If there is no discount out there in the next few weeks, it will be POP.
