Hi everyone..me again...we have decided to go back to Florida next year and would appreciate any tips and advice. We are thinking of going last week in july ,first week in August for 2 weeks ,staying on I Drive(2 adults,1 teenager and a 9 yr old)I have had a look at the Hampton Inn,which seems ok but would like any feedback/suggestions.I have a budget of about £3500-£4000 for the flight and accomodation..if a villa is an option at this price then i would be more than happy with that!!!Help..please...

If you are all happy staying in a hotel room then consider either Old Key West or Saratoga Springs if Disney release the same deal as they have the past few years.
This August we are paying £118/night, £1,652 for 2 weeks, that includes all your food for you all on the Disney Dining Plan(you have to buy tickets also)

We stayed offsite last Oct in a Fairfield Inn, cost us about £30/night, taking into account cost of food & parking fees at Disney it does not work out much different to stay at OKW at £118/night with everything included, for 4 of you I would say OKW would be cheaper than the Hampton Inn.

This depends if Disney realease the offer again and what they price it at. We are all hoping the offers are released early next month.

I totally agree with Wayne, we stayed in Rosen Inn on I drive and spent a fortune getting too and eating in disney, I know they offer free shuttles but after a day in the parks its hard when your stuck to a certain time for returning and chaos at closing times. I would definatly book Disney hotel for the free DDP and transport. Unless you plan to do Universal SW and IOA too then maybe I drive is a better location.
Wayne I too hope the DDP offer runs for next year as it would make me tempted to return a little earlier than the 2014 plan!! hahah
who did you book your disney holtel with ??? Thats a really good price for peak times

I booked with Complete Orlando. Direct with Disney would have cost about £130/nt but they included a $150 gift card, I preferred the lower cost and no gift card.

Wayneg, that deal sounds fab,how far infront did you book that and how did you find that deal?

It was available from April 2011 for this year so we hope from next month they release a similar deal for next year but its now been offered for around 4 years so I doubt Disney will want to continue many more years at these prices (4 years ago we paid around £80-85/nt)
Personally I booked last Nov.
It will be posted on here, many people are waiting for it or keep checking Disney.co.uk.

wayne, Out of all the hotels offering the free DDP which one would you go for??
I weighed up Carabien Beach or Port Oleans but notice you recommend OKW too. Whats the differenr apart from price. Sorry this is prob stating the obvious but Ive always stayed off-site and curretky researchin for next on site trip. Thanks :dance3:

caribbean and POR both only have the quickservice dining plan and i think OKW has the dining plan so you get a table service meal instead of 2 counter service meals - we stayed at POFQ and loved it but would consider OKW or SSR if the deals come up as it works out cheaper - i loved the option of table service and felt we saved an absoloute fortune and ate really well

Previous post covers it really. OKW has Better DDP and bigger rooms.
If we stayed in a moderate we would have to upgrade to regular DDP which then makes it a little too expensive for us, we would be better off staying offsite so the only deal to get me onsite again is OKW with 42% off.

Thanks so much, my plan was go for a Moderate hotel like POR and pay to upgrade the QSDP to include sit down meals, but your idea is brill. It would be same price for a more delux hotel...... just got to pray now the free DDP offer returns
