I have been reading a lot about BOG and it is getting wickedly panned for dinner, I keep hearing lunch is great but dinner is horrible and expensive. I'm thinking about doing lunch there. I know I wont see the characters but I would just like to see the restaurant for the atmosphere.

Ihave heard that too. You can't get beer at lunch and my DH wants to be able to say he has had a beer in the MK (we did at DL) and this is the only way he can!

I AM IN SHOCK! After 6 months of nothing, I got BOG for 8/6 5pm for party of 5! WOW!

FYI: EArlier today, got nothing. Tried again at 3pm --- try 1 got "not able to check for times". Hmmm... Tried again with "dinner" - no times available. Tried again for 5:00 and gor 4:30, 5:00 and 6:20 as options!!!!

Yep. I was able to book 8/11 with a 5pm slot at BOG.

Thanks to this thread, I was able to book the coveted BOG last night for 8/8. It will be our last day in a last minute 5-day quick trip and I have to flip/flop my Wishes/IllumiNations plans but we'll be there for dinner . I had selected TWO different dates/time and got the dreaded "Server Busy" message and lost them both. I was peeved because they were better times.

New policy for threads - Trade/Transfer/Wanted posts are no longer allowed. Since Disney no longer allows transferring of reservations to new names, we will no longer support trading of ADRs.

If you and another poster choose to call Disney at the same time to attempt to reclaim a cancellation that is fine and outside of the boards.

Only Cancellation Notice Posts will be allowed going forward. Wanted posts will be deleted without comment.

I am about to cancel 2 BOG ADR's for 8/25. Neither is an ideal time, but I just checked and nothing else is available, so here they are:

8/25, 4:20 pm, 4 people, Be Our Guest
