Exactly one month from today I will be sitting in the CL lounge at the Poly drinking some adult punch and looking at the castle!

Ahh, I love Poly CL! We're trying out the AK villas this time, but one of my favorite things was snacking on the evening offerings on the beach while watching Wishes! You just can't beat that view....Have a wonderful time!!

We'll be in the World at the same time - maybe we'll run into you at the parks

Isn't there just something so special about the Poly? I'm so excited we are spending 12 nights there this year. I can't wait to step of the ME bus and into paradise.

I just pulled the Disney bin out of the basement.

The kids have 30 pins, though they forget what belongs to whom. I think I'll put them all out on the table and just let them take turns. The last 2 go to my husband and me I guess.

I wanted to make sure we have enough ponchos...turns out we have 30!! My guess is that I bought, forgot that I had bought, and bought again. So we have plenty for this trip, with a good start on our next set.

I'm debating ordering 1 or 2 more Mistymate misters. We have 2, but have 3 kids.. that spells trouble to me.

My baggalini bag could certainly use a good washing. It's gotten me through 2 Disney trips (and I loaned it to a friend for her trip), along with 2 (or is it 3??) trips to Mystic Seaport and 2 years at Lake George. Aside from looking a little travel worn, it's in great shape. So it hits the washer this morning.

45 MORE DAYS!!!

I'm so excited! We're staying TWELVE nights at Pop from Aug 22 - Sep 3. This trip is all about the waterparks! I'm planning just 6 park days, then 4 waterpark days and 1 full day at DQ. We've never done the waterparks before and my DH and DS in particular are going to love it as they are ride wimps.

I'm also organizing a Photopass share on the Facebook group for Aug/September. Definitely makes our vacation pics much more affordable to split up the costs with other families. I'm also planning to upgrade to Photopass+. If I can find 1-2 other families whose dates match up before/my trip, it would be great to split the upgrade costs. I only need the Photopass+ from Aug 26-Sep 2, so there's enough time before/after for a share of the 14 day window. Lots of work there, but it will be fun. Last time I had a great time with my share group and my group leader and I hit it off and ended up spending part of our trip together.

Finalizing ADRs now - scored my 8:15am Tusker House breakfast! Next up, trying to get Pirates League ressies for my DD who has fallen in love with the (super pricey) mermaid makeover.

August 20-25, Wilderness Lodge. Surprise trip for the kiddos before school starts. What finalized the deal for us was Southwest's 72 hour fare sale last week. $99/one way! With points, I managed 4 roundtrip tickets from Houston to Orlando for $450.

That's an amazing deal!!

We will be staying off site 8/11 thru 8/18. We are using cc points to get a free hotel room - hoping this works as we can't book it until Saturday!

This is our first time going in the summer. I'm hoping we survive the Florida heat and humidity

Another first is driving there with the kids (19, 15 & 13). DH and I have driven down a couple times pre-kids but have flown down since the kids came along. Driving will save us over $2,000 so well worth it!

I love using my CC points!! I've racked up lots of Choice hotel points, and some Hilton and some Starwood. Also my first time going in the summer and I'm a bit nervous - but excited to hit the waterparks (which made no sense on our last January trip)

Booked a bounceback offer when we were there last August for our beloved Beach Club with dining!!

Booked the earliest flight out on JetBlue, 6:30 am (arrive in Orlando at 9:15) and the latest one home to Boston, 8:55 (arrive in Boston at midnight) so we can maximize every second there. Nothing worse then arriving and leaving and only getting a half day on each end. Should be at the BC by 10:30 and ME picks us up to leave at 5:30 so pretty full days!

I feel terrible wishing the summer away but I just can't help myself!!

I like full days too. I've started flying in the night before. We catch the 7:30pm flight so we can be at work all day and then race to the airport. We check in about midnight - but it's worth it to get extra DDP credits (with free dining) as well as hit rope drop the next morning!

I posted back on page 2 when I had just bought my train tickets. I wasnt sure where I was staying or anything, the train tickets were my 1st step. Now I have my resorts, park tickets, photopass+ CD and all PAID FOR IN ADVANCE. I made my ADR's as well.
CBR, PORFQ, POP & then off site to Celebration Suites.
5 day water park & more tickets
ADRs are Play 'n Dine (hollywood &vine), Kona Cafe, Sci-Fi & Crystal Palace. We plan of visiting T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe as well, no ADR's.

I HAVE 42 DAYS AS OF TODAY!!
I just cant believe it.

We have 6 day WP&M and will likely use 5 of those days. Can't wait!!!

May I jump in on this thread? I'm new to DIS and totally addicted.

We're going end of August - 52 days to go!! I booked late (about 3 weeks ago) and have been going crazy those last 3 weeks with ADRs. Now that I have all those settled, I'm in full on wait mode. In the next couple of weeks, I'll be working on my binder with all my travel info (flights, insurance, hotel, touringplans, etc...). Then once August hits, I'll be in packing mode!

Love all your planning It's coming closer all the time! Our last trip was at the end of Jan and I didn't book it until the beginning of November - definitely felt like I was in a bit of a frenzy - but I got all the ADRs I wanted - even Ohanas and Le Cellier

Coming up fast now! Printed out all my directions yesterday (we're driving ) - so I have Triptiks to and from Orlando, and then a page for each day with directions to and from the parks we'll be visiting. Also started making my food packing list.

This may be our last trip for a while, so I'm really hoping it will be awesome

Yeah, we leave 3 weeks from Wednesday.

I have a Rubbermaid bin in the dining room as of Saturday. Anything I come across that needs to come with us goes into the bin. I checked, and found that we have enough ponchos for TWO trips... I must have bought twice without thinking.

I'm leaving today for Philly for 3 days. When I get back, we're in full Disney mode.
