We will be down there in August as well! We were supposed to go next month, but due to my teaching job, had to switch to the summer. I can't wait- already planning my days! We are already booked for the 26th to the 1st of September, debating whether I want to move it up a week...

I booked our 2012 trip when the FD promo came out for Canadians. I know a lot of people are also booking BounceBack deals too.

Nice! I was born just outside of Montreal! Now I live in the states - in Vermont, not too much different from Quebec!

Free Dining isn't out yet for August in the U.S. - I suppose that when it is, I will have to decide between moderate resort and regular dining plan, or POP and the deluxe dining plan (which is what we are doing now). Am really looking forward to being able to book signature dining and special events using the DP credits. Guess we'll see (probably after the New Year).

I am sooooo excited I might pee my pants!

I have been lurking and gathering information for my family's first Disney trip for about 4 months now and I FINALLY get to post that we are going for sure and have DATES!!! YAHOOO!!!!

We'll be having a grand old time at Disney with my family, my ILs, BIL&SIL, then my DH's 2 aunts and their grandchildren! That's 17 people total. Our families get together twice a year and I'm SOOO happy that one of those times will be at WDW!

Thanks to SIL, we are all booked at SOG from Aug 4-11!

I can't wait to keep planning our trip

At this point we're leaning toward the Beach Club, I've ALWAYS wanted to stay there but I'm sure we'll change our minds about 50x by then.

Yes I do think it's going to be a lot of fun, but I must admit it has been a lot of work just getting to this point in the planning process. That's a LOT of people's schedule's to coordinate! I'm still riding high on though and having fun gathering as much information as I can.

an august tip:
bring a fan... maybe even one that shoots water. it is ridiculously hot and the ones at disney are expensive! haha it will be a saviour!

We went in June but due to a back strain the trip wasn't a huge success and I had post-Disney depression for the rest of the summer. DH surprised me on our wedding anniversary with permission to book a trip in 2012 to make up for our less than stellar trip.

We'll be celebrating our wedding anniversary at the most magical place in the world - 17 years after we first visited as a couple on our honeymoon. Needless to say I can't wait!

Our dates are August 4 - August 9 and we'll be staying at Wilderness Lodge (our first stay in a deluxe resort).

Let the Happy Dance begin!!

Check! I managed to pick one up on clearance at Walmart and stored it away in our "Disney box". Yes, I have gone off the deep end when it comes to planning

August 21st - 28th, CSR.

This trip, I am surprising my mom with a spa day and possibly one of the tours while we are there. She gave me many wonderful vacations over the years. I want to make this one extra special for her.

We will be there August 22-30 at POR. I know I put this info out for a thread for 2012 trips but would love to be a part of an "August 2012" list. It will be me, DH, DD (14), DS (11) and DS (6). My DD is sooo excited about this. She is on the Teen Boards and already has a countdown going! We were lucky enough to book a bounceback last month and will be getting FD again. We are already looking forward to making our ADRs. Our definites right now will be Via Napoli and Kona Cafe. We are letting DD and older DS pick one ADR each....hmmmm that should be interesting...

By the way, for the August vets, keep the tips coming. We know it will be hot, but are not sure what to expect for crowds. Our last two trips were in Sept., but due to school we chose to go in August. I have checked the crowd calendar on Touring Plans.... In sept we were getting like 1s and 2s, not so much in august.

Now just need to wait for airfare...

A couple more Canadians you can add to the list! Just myself and my DD going for our second annual farther daughter trip with free dinning using bounce back.

We are staying at POP from AUG 19-24 then off property for Star Wars Celebration AUG 24-27.

After that we are thinking of staing at a Mod (CSR ) AUG 27-30 this is not booked yet but most likey will be soon.
