We r going to be there Aug 26 to Sept 1 get home just in time to send kids to school on the 3rd.we r staying at the sports my kids love this place hope we get over in the baseball section!!they like the pool over on that side !!

Hi going with my DS12 and BF(His first trip!) August 21-28 2012, staying at POFQ for the first time, my son love ASsports too!!!!!

Finally have another trip planned! Aug 9th - 20th! Not sure where we're going to stay quite yet, haven't booked anything, but leaning towards Pop Century, our favorite. Going to be driving down, as usual. 32 hour drive and we love every minute of it! As of right now, almost half of the total mileage on our vehicle is from Disney trips! We drove down last August too. I wish so much that it wasn't so far, we'd definitely go way more often if the distance was even half of what it is.

We're staying from the 21-28 at PORFQ and have the free dining plan! and so far we're thinking:
Tuesday: Rainforest Cafe @ DTD
Wednesday: Le Cellier for lunch and Whispering Canyon for dinner
Thursday: we're spending the dat at universal and will have a dining plan there so no ADR's @ Disney
Friday: Chef Mickeys
Saturday: Sci-Fi Dine in
Sunday: T-REX Cafe
Monday: Planet Hollywood

it's stressful planning your days so far in advance but still a lot of fun!! what is everyone else thinking?

We are waiting for Feb 8, but we just made our dining reservation final decisions today! So looking forward to our vacation!

8/6 - Kouzzina dinner
8/7 - Akershus lunch (celebrating DD5 first visit)
8/8 - Teppan Edo dinner (celebrating DS16 birthday)
8/9 - Ohana dinner (celebrating DD17 birthday)
8/10 - Boma dinner (celebrating DH and my 10th anniversary)

It's our first time on the dining plan, so we pretty much chose these on popular vote amongst the members of the family. Any thoughts on these selections?

Unfortunately, my wife and I don't have kids yet. But if we did, we have enough electronics to keep pretty much anybody occupied for a week straight! I'm a go-go-go type person, so I drive until the wee hours and stop begrudgingly when I feel I absolutely must. I don't even like stopping for gas, I need one of those gas trucks to follow alongside us with a way to pump gas into the vehicle while we're still moving! Poor DW! On the first day of driving, I will drive at least 20 hours.

This is a travel agent schedule and bear in mind that Disney changes things quite often up until closer to the actual month. But it gives a fairly good idea of what to expect.

ME, ME, ME!!!! Please add me to the list of crazy travelers in August. We (dh, dd 14) will be staying at CBR for the first time from Aug 17 - 28th. We've previously stayed at POR and POFQ and of course off site quite a few times. We were able to book off of a bounceback last year, so we already know we have free dining!! Since August hours are out on the TA site and easywdw site, I've already decided on ADR's even though I can't book them until February 19th.

Aug 17th --- flying in. Hoping for Planet Hollywood around 4pm
Aug 18th --- Animal Kingdom day. ADR for Tusker House 8am
Aug 19th --- MK day. ADR for Hoop Dee Do Review for 5pm
Aug 20th --- Epcot day. ADR for Akershus for 8am
Aug 21st --- MK day. ADR for Sci Fi diner at 5pm
Aug 22nd --- Break day ---
Aug 23rd --- Up to someone to decide day. ADR Whispering Canyon Cafe
Aug 24th --- HS day. ADR 50's Prime Time Cafe
Aug 25th --- Universal Studios day
Aug 26th --- MK day. ADR O'hana's 8am
Aug 27th --- Epcot day. ADR Garden Grill 5pm
Aug 28th --- flying back home ADR Chef Mickey's 8am.

So there are my plans. I don't do entire touring plans mapping out every ride and every cs meal. Things come up and I would rather just play those things by ear!! I really love to talk to people regarding plans!!!

We have been in an awful cycle of setting dates then putting it off for the last several months, so I am VERY happy to say that we're actually serious this time. No really, we are!

We are going to be staying in a 2-bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs from August 18-25! It has been 10 years since our last stay, and it's been 10 years TOO LONG!

We moved to Maine from Florida 3 1/2 years ago, so now that I've gotten used to the cooler temps, I figure it's going to be very challenging to deal with the oppressive August heat. At least we all know what to expect - and I'm pretty certain we will decide not to go in August again.

Please add me to the list - it sure looks like we've got a great group!!!

After all the "almosts" and possible additions and date changes, I actually booked flights and tickets for exactly what I originally planned - we will be at POP from the 17th to the 26th, with Deluxe Dining, which means more Signatures and such than usual (can you say La Cellier at LEAST twice?). Going to get down to some serious planning now - if anyone is interested in meeting for a meal or two, or perhaps for a round of golf, DS and I would be glad to hang out. ADR's in 19 Days (I think)!!!!
