Congrats to everyone on your ADR's!

So do you all plan which days for each park before you plan dining or after?

For me it's a combination, we knew we wanted to see F! so that night was set. We also knew we wanted to do b'fast at CP but not on a weekend so that morning was set. We also have two traditions, - dinner at Coral Reef on our first full day and R&C for Illuminations on our last day. That actually only leave us a few felxible days.

Now that I have my ADR's I will play around with which park in the am and which park in the pm - trying to hit each park at least once in the am & pm.

I'm trying to not plan too much this trip, we will be traveling with our two older DD's (21 & 20) along with our DD8. I want to stay flexible so everyone has the best vacation possible!

I wrote down which park I wanted to be at and made reservations based on that.

I booked my flights!! $77 each way from LaGuardia on Airtran!

Awesome deal! Hoping to get something like that.

Do you get park hoppers or only do one park per day?

We always do Hoppers and try to do a park in the morning until lunch than a pool break and then a different park for dinner at night. So I usually plan 2 parks per day!

No I don't get hoppers. Got them once and didnt really find they we used it so I don't buy it anymore and just plan my days. Saves us a couple hundred dollars

Just wanted to make sure that you knew that Rainforest cafe IS NOT on the Disney Dining Plan . They do take that other dining discount card or whatever it is. But you can not use Disney(Free Dining whichever) Dining Plan Credits there. Wouldnt want you to get there and find out to late

Thanks for making me double-check that.

I thought they didn't accept it either, but what happened was...I was fairly certain I had checked the box to show only restaurants that take the dining plan - and it turns out I did (I just tried it again and, sure enough, Rainforest Cafe does come up as accepting the plan). But upon closer examination, they only accept it if you are on the premium or platinum plan. It's a little misleading, to say the least. I was surprised when It came up on the list, but I thought maybe it was something new - that they had joined the plan. I may still keep it and pay OOP as I think the kids will enjoy it.

No problem! My kids love Rainforest and the TRex we usually do one of the 2 each visit!

DH and I are going August 27-September 2...staying at ASSp (I never quite know how to abbreviate that ). We are so excited!!! It will be a trip celebrating our first anniversary and we are splurging on the DxDP. Just made our ADRs 2 days ago!!

Last year, we went the first 10 days of August for our honeymoon...hoping these days will be slightly less crowded.

hot. expect low 90s. i'm hoping for lots of clouds (but no rain, of course). It makes a big difference when it's cloudy and the sun is not beating on you all day. It makes it much more tolerable.

we are going 8/26 - 9/3. we went the same week last year. you can expects crowdes to be prett low. we practically walked on to eveything outside of TSM with no wait more than 10 minues and only utilized a few FPs.
