Hi, I'm new here (though I recognise the odd name from Ukscrappers and TheDibb :) )

I'm going to 40 next year so we're planning an August trip - and of course it's at the beginning of August so busiest time! Just my luck. I've had a few quotes for flights / flydrives but they are all rather high and I'm wondering if I should book now (at £700+ each) or wait until September when the flights are released or even later and hope the price goes down. What do you think and what do you do?

I'm loath to book a villa until I have a better grip on flight prices and dates - but I don't want to miss out on a really nice villa. EEK dilemma dilemma! We're flexible in that I want to be in Orlando by 4th August at the latest and I want to leave no earlier than 9th August. We want to do 2 weeks in a villa and there are 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 7 when we go). There may be another 2 adults but that is up in the air at the moment.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance :)

Can't really help with the airfare. As for the villas, you would need a 2 bedroom villa. We stay in one at the BW every year and love that area. You still have plenty of time to decide on your final dates since you probably can't get a villa yet since DVC can only reserve theirs 11 months ahead. We go in Aug. every year and the 2 bedroom at the BW wasn't open to the public until Oct. this year. DVC gets to reserve first and then any villa that DVC hasn't rented are open for reservation through Disney and travel agents.
