Hi everyone
Next August is our tenth anniversary and as we got married at WDW we are going back with 23 friends and family for a reunion celebration.

I have booked SSR through Complete Orlando for a great price and we got free dining too! YAY!

Flights are the next thing to sort out. As we are returning Sept 2 flights are only just being loaded.

Complete Orlando just emailed to say they have held flights for us until next Wednesday at £886 per adult, £728 per child. This is for Virgin. It seems higher than I have paid for August before but looking online at next July/Aug school hols it seems typical. Even indirect is about £700 for early August 2011.

Don't know whether to book this now and risk it going down or wait and see if prices drop over next couple of months.

We don't usually book our flights so early so I dont know if the earliest price is usually inflated.

Any thoughts or advice much appreciated. I want to get a reasonable price for my family and friends but obviously don't want to miss getting our flights together.

Is it me or is August 2011 looking more expensive?
Mandy :)

I had a similar dilemma myself but there are only four of us, our flights were released today (returning on Aug 31st) and I have booked with VA this morning.

We have never flown in peak season before and so I was unsure of what will happen with prices ie whether they will be reduced at some point etc but my dilemma was, we like to fly direct MAN to MCO, I had preferred dates that I wanted and I was 'reasonably' happy with the price (we are flying PE) and so I booked and can now relax.... :goodvibes

If the prices drop at some point I will try to take it calmly :rotfl:

In your case the problem is if you want all want to fly together I would say get it booked but as there are so many of you, even a small drop in price could equate to a huge saving :confused3

Sorry I'm not much use, if I were in your situation I'm afraid I would be a chicken and book this week :lmao:

Good luck with whatever you decide :thumbsup2

Ali :goodvibes

Hi, I have also booked through complete orlando, originally for 4th Aug 2 adults, 1 teen staying at Saratoga. The flights with virgin were coming up at £3,100 inc car hire, by changing the date to the 23rd Aug it has dropped to £2,400 again with the car hire, also booked the flights through quidco and should get approx £90.00 back :yay: Debs x
