Bellasmom, I we tried GCV too, no luck. It is a very small resort. I think we need to try right at 7 months for it (or own there.)

We made reservations in Feb going in August and there were not many villas left open at that time, Studios and 1 bedrooms go very quickly. We do a week at a shot.

I've really only been lurking to get planning information but wanted to jump in and start talking! We have our trip booked from August 19-24 at the Hojo. I'm so excited! I'm trying to keep the secret from my 4 1/2 year old but I don't know if I'm going to make it 77 days without saying anything!

Good to keep that in mind. If this summer trip to CAL works out, we might be using our points that way more often (FLA in the summer is too hot) and taking the kids out of school is getting harder each year.

Then again there is always Hawaii........................................
