I'd love to join you all waiting for a code for august. I'm thinking of going the last week that ends with labor day weekend. I'll probably go without a code, but it would be great to get free dining.

How I wish that would work!!!

I"m waiting for Free Dining still but I did receive a PIN CODE in my email for 20, 30, 40% off during our stay dates!!!

If I may ask Have you already booked? And did you book a package or just room? If you haven't booked, what have you done to let Disney know you were planning on going?

I have already booked our reservation, waiting for FD to be released so i can call in and add it to our reservations.

I was sending my cousin a Planning DVD to get her excited for our trip and then checked my secondary email I used and there was a PIN CODE.

I didnt' want to use her email address because I want the planning dvd to be a surprise.

If we can't get FD, we'll use the room discount code!

So I've actually managed to convince DW to do a full TWO WEEKS (which is huge for us!) at a Mod in August, hopefully starting on Sunday, August 15! But it's definitely contingent on FD being offered.

I'd like to know if anybody has successfully added FD to their previously existing reservation after it was released in previous years. This will be our third trip with FD, and we've always done pretty well with ADR's, even when waiting for the FD to be released to the general public to make our ressie. But this time around, I'd like to be able to make the ressie now, get my ADR's booked, and then add FD when and if it's released later this month.

Will that work???? Thanks!!

That is what we are doing, we are already booked for Aug 28- Sept 6th, have all of our ADR's in place, when I booked I asked them about any discounts that came along and was assured that all I had to do was call back in and they would apply the discount.

I was able to add free dining to my existing reservation in 08. I had booked with the DDP so they just took the cost of the plan off of my bill. Fingers crossed it will come out soon. I am booked 8/22-8/27 and really hoping for FD!!

I booked DDP originally last year and then when FD came out the price was removed saving me about $1,7000

yep, get those adrs booked. We are going from 8/16 to 8/26 and already have out booked.

Check the calender because Labor day is late again this year..September 6th. My kids school are going back before labor again which in not the norm

Yes patiently waiting with equal amounts of frustration: and irritation each time I log on and see I don't have an email from Disney Destination with my PIN. Makes me sick!

This is my first time waiting for free dining and do they offer it too Disney Visa card holders first? And if so shouldn't they have hear about it soon?
