Hey everyone. I'm really hoping someone can help me. I need to get 1900 Park Fare for dinner 8/26, 8/27 or 8/28(least fav option) for 4 people at a normal dinner time.(5-7:30)

I have the following to trade for it:

CRT 8/27 at 7:10pm
Teppan Edo 8/30 at 12:45pm
Ohana's breakfast 8/31 at 11 am

Ideally I'd like to trade my CRT for 1900PF if at all possible. I'm really hoping someone will want to trade.

I made a reservation for 4 to LTT on Aug 14 at 5:50. Originally, two other people were supposed to be coming with us but no longer are able to. Should I call and see if there is a reservation for 2 available or just leave it and tell them upon arrival?? I don't want to lose our reservation totally over it. We'll only be in the parks one day, so this was my way of getting to see the characters.

Make a cold call and ask if there is availability for a party of 2. If so, tell the CM you have a res. already and you'd like to switch table size.
If you get a "no table for 2", thank and hang up and keep the original. It's my opinion that life happens within the ridiculous time frame they want you to mave reservations. So, if they can't accomodate the change, keep the original and enjoy.

I agree, we have reservations for a party of six at Boma for 5 pm one evening. One person is not coming with us and when I tried to call to reduce the party size to 5, they said we would have to take an ADR for 8:30pm. So I said we will just keep the party of 6 -in case the person changes their mind (even though I know they are not coming with us).

If they say there is no availability to change ask to speak to the dining help line, I had ADR's for 7 but then my mom and her husband dropped out(same as last year I should know by now to just make them for us) I needed to get it dropped down to five and I had all prime spots I had since the 180 day mark. The first dining rep I got was completely unhelpful and I decided to not cancel anything yet, called back later that week and the rep I got this time asked me to hold while she contacted the dining help line, she came back on quite a few minutes later and had my whole week of ADR's changed for a party of five!! Give it a try!

I am in a similar situation... we were originally a party of 7 now we're a party of 5. I tried to reduce our party size without cancelling the reservation and wasn't able to. I wasn't willing to lose my reservation just to reduce my party size.

I double checked to make sure that we weren't ever taking up two tables though because I didn't want to hold a table that someone else could use... the only ones that I might get burned on are HDDR and CRT because I had to hold those with a credit card and they may charge me for the people that don't come...

I am also wondering if places will add the 18% gratuity on because the ressie is for 7 even though only 5 show. I hope not. I am a good tipper but I would like it to be based on service and not automatic.

Thanks to everyone for posting on this thread... I was able to get quite a few reservations that I couldn't otherwise and was happy to make some available to other dissers too!

Does anyone have a breakfast ADR 08/16 pty of 5 @ Crystal Palace or 1900 park..I have an ADR at WCC at 8:30a.m. if you want to trade?

I am also still looking for Sci Fi for dinner 08/18..I can trade my lunch ADR @ the Sci Fi..also pty of 5.

I just cancelled a reservation for 4 at the Liberty Tree on Aug 14 at 5:50pm. I got a later time for just two and didn't need the 5:50 one anymore.

8/31 Boma 8:40 dinner

They are all for 4. I would love to get Boma a little earlier that 8:40. Also if anyone has Chef Mickey they are going to cancel between 8/28-9/1 my husband will be so happy. That was his only request and I can't get it.

In case anyone is interested, I called earlier today to just see about getting reservations for sci fi on Aug 16 for lunch (thinking, no chance) and the CM I spoke with said that lunch was wide open for reservations!

Try getting Chef Mickey's for lunch. I am having lunch there on 8/27. They are serving lunch there during free dining to handle the volume of people on free dining.
