August 27-30 Beach Club Villas

Just closed on DVC and plan to try all of the DVC resorts. We wanted to try BCV's pool-so they are first on the "other DVC resorts to try" list.

I have now given my crazy Disney excitement to my DH, my DD already had it.

We will be at BCV from 8/27 - 9/1. This is our first time not staying at our home resort, VWL. Looking forward to SAB. Is anyone doing the Dining Plan? I am still on the fence about that.


We have a HH vacation coming up first in April -- very excited to have 2 trips coming up!

and the sweating sounds good given how cold it is in PA today!

It's never too soon to get excited about a Disney trip.
Don't you just love the looks you get from people who get to go at this time of the year when you tell them that you are going in August??!!
Like it isn't hot and crowded at the Jersey shore in August, too.
At least I won't have to pack long pants, sweatshirts and a windbreaker like I did last August when we went to San Francisco.

DH, me, and DSs 1-3-5 will squish into one room at POFQ 8/16-8/19, visit cousins in Tampa 8/19-8/20, then hook up with the inlaws and check into a 2BR at BCV for 8/20-8/25. This is my inlaws first Disney trip in about 30 years and we look forward to reintroducing them to the magic I am praying for reasonable humidity and lower crowds Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Our first trip as owners and not renters is Aug 13 - 18 at VWL. Can't wait...we've haven't told the boys (7 and 3) yet, either. We're planning on telling them when we put them in the truck to leave, maybe even a little later than that.

I hear ya!

We went to WDW for the first time last August and then went on a cruise in November so we stayed a couple of days in Disney. November was way too cold for us. We love August! Yep, I know it's crazy.

The heat is brutal but I would take heat over cold any day. I can get wet on any ride and know that I will be dry in a few minutes.

We will be at the BWV-8/4 thru 8/19
