Just can't wait now. Are any of you grown up kids dressing up for pirate night? what about the men?

I opted not to dress up. Just a tropical dinner dress. I'm kind of a curvy girl and I don't know how hot I would look in pirate gear.. I am traveling with my mom and kids and only the kids are dressing up. Although we are having trouble finding a second sword for my youngest. The first one I got through Ebay and should have bought 2. Oh well. Elisa

My DS 13 and DS 16 are wearing pirate hats and t-shirts. I would have loved to dress up but I have already spent so much money getting things we "need" for the cruise I decided to curtail my spending a bit.

Pirate costumes must be all the rage now because I had to look high and low for Captain Jack hats online....most web sites were sold out so I ended up getting the boys hats on eBay.

One week and we will be on the Wonder!!!!!!

I have decided to surprise my mom with a few days at Animal Kingdom Lodge. She LOVES that hotel. So instead of coming straight home, we will head to Disney!! The rooms at Pop Century are really cheap, like 70 a night. But the rooms at Animal Kingdom are around 200, Yikes.. but she loves it there. I can't believe that this time next week, I will be running around trying to get everything packed. Yay!! So this week, I have my daughter's 5th birthday party, her second week of school, my school registration and book purchase, last minute packing, and a ton of other things, like an eye appointment, hair appointment, etc...
By the time I make it to the boat, I will be in a coma... Just prop me up in a beach chair on the deck and wake me up in time for the party.

I was just thinking.....this time next week I wont be running home from work crazy and frazzled trying to get a decent dinner on the table. Someone will be doing the cooking and serving me!!!!

This time next week, I will be laying in my bed, and listening to the ocean go by outside my veranda...sigh...tough life, but someone has to do it!! I have been complaining about how much I have to do, but I am getting through it. I lived through getting my 5 year old to kindergarten, now I have to deal with her birthday party tomorrow, and then I am in the clear. Yay!!

This is the first cruise we are arriving the day of, yuck!! I leave on Wed for 2 nights in NJ for a horse show, tonight a mini-baby shower, home late friday night, pack Saturday and get caught up on house stuff and then leave at like 4:00am Sunday morning!!!

the kicker is my 6 year old has no clue we are even going away! If he knew he would be going nuts, driving us crazy and probably telling his cousin (we live next door and she is 7) and she would be upset she wasn't going!!

Can you tell I am getting stressed!!!

The countdown begins . I can't wait. I think I have everything that I need and many things that I don't need. My oldest is in school today and tomorrow and then we have to get serious about packing. That is my least favorite part. I won't be online again, until after we return. I need to pack up the laptop and start securing the items that are staying home. I keep thinking of things I need....or do I really need them after all?
Thanks goodness I have Friday off because I have to start packing (after I do the laundry).
Can't wait to get on the Wonder and finally RELAX!

We're back in town, monday reality starts again...

Missed you all at the Pool... don't know what happened...

But... we had a great cruise and a great vacation in WDW and Florida...

Who knows, until later on a new cruise...
