You mean I can't wear my t-shirt with a pair of shorts and my flip flops on formal night!!

(tongue firmly in cheek!!)

I just screwed up - someone PM'd me with their information a few minutes ago and I very courteously responded and then not-so-courteously deleted it before I added it to the list. It was someone travelling with their daughter (husband was staying home).

Sorry - trying to do too many things at once - could you send it again?

Cruel but funny, Grumbo. LOL.

...sheesh.... no respect... :-)

P.S. I remembered the name anyway... nyah...nyah...!

Reading the above posts I have to say I saw a very funny thing once.

It was formal night on a Princess cruise and everyone dressed up it was all very very posh!!

However one guy I feel must have decided to ''dress down'' for the evening.

He went to the formal dinner in a string vest and Trousers, and also went up to the captain and said hello.

No shirt, no jacket, and I think he didn't shave! It was a sight.

Eveyone had a laugh, but no one complained about it.

I think it was a 'little protest'. Good on him!!

Didn't mean to scare you Andy. I knew that we would have to wait for ordering the t-shirts. :D Just thought I would let you know I was interested in case you need a head count to see if there is enough interest.

A quick update on where we stand...

The total stands at 311.

mississaugamom: There are currently 12 girls ages 8-9 on the ship!

NYdiscuisers: There are 82 current DISnames on the roster. You won't see a few of them on the list we have posted since in a few cases there are more than one in a cabin (that's the case for me).

We currently have 3 countries and 21 states represented. The highest numbers are from:

Ca - 23
NJ - 22
Il - 21
Pa - 20
Canada - 15
UK - 12
Ma - 11

I'm keeping a lot more data (like full names, ages, locations, etc.) than we show on the list at the front of the thread, but for now we'll just be posting this. I'm thinking of having paper lists that I could give out once we are on the ship that would have more info, any thoughts on that?

If you get a chance, please check out Grumbo's list and let us know of any goofs.

Thanks to Grumbo for his help posting this (even if he *does* abuse me in my hour of need...) :-)

-Pete

The whole t-shirt/magnet ideas sound awesome. I'm in!! My mom, dad and I all wanted our family to wear matching shirts on our reunion cruise last Nov. on the Magic--and they all protested and said it was "dorky". They mentioned the "Griswolds" in there somewhere, too. Needless to say--we didn't do it so I can't wait to be "dorky" on this cruise!!!:p

Oh, I want to be dorky as well ! The Dorks do Disney.....

Hey I just noticed this is post 999. Grim, grinning ghosts come out to socialize ! :rolleyes1

Not scared, I have a tablet in front of me, front half is for door magnet orders, back half is (trying) keeping track of t-shirt interest.

Just wanted to say my daughter will be one of those children and loved meeting Mary (Lynn, Lv2dream's dd) on the ship last month. Meeting Mary was one of my dd's highlights of the cruise! Both girls seemed pretty easy going, made friends easily and welcomed others into their group. They were friendly with 5 or 6 other children regularly.

While it's still pretty early, count us in on assisting with any pre-cruise jitters by introduction via email. My dd was thrilled one of the little girls recognized her by the picture we exchanged.

No worries!

Malificent - looking dorky isnt so bad when you have 300 of your closest friends looking just as dorky.....

LOL

Just popping back on here with a few thoughts. It just occured to me that there won't be a ressie rush. With 14 days to get spa treatments, Palo brunches and the rest--there should be plenty to go around! What do you all think?

Ursula

we should all be able to get spa , high tea and brunch ressies since there will be 7 sea days.

But of course, it wouldnt be a disney cruise without the ressies rush - LOL

I was thinking the same thing unless Palo decides to be closed on port nights or if there are only a few nights that really stand out as nights you'd want to miss the regular dinner or if everyone rushes to get more than one Palo reservation.
