My latest shopping adventure for the cruise...

I placed an order from V.S. for some cute clothes. More often than not, the few times I've ordered from them the purchases are returned! I received an excellent discount code, so I placed an order.

Yesterday I received the little black dress I ordered for the cruise! It fits and I like it! Dh says he likes it even better than I! ;) Now I need to beef up my weight training so I will feel my best in wearing it (it's more like I actually need to do my weight training exercises, lol!)

I'm not used to wearing such clothes anymore, but I am going to get in shape and wear this on the cruise! I think I'll hang it in the front of my closet to remind me each day to exercise.

How is your shopping going everyone?! This is fun!

The dress sounds devine, Barbara! I aqm afraid that the days of slinky black dresses are over for me. Actually, they never started! I did order a pair of black trousers a few days ago, they are supposed to make your butt look good. I will give a full report after I find out! I really would like to bring my favorite black trousers with me, they are leather and I am thinking it will be too hot even at night. I had them on this morning, but I thought there is enough controversy around Mr. Clinton that a woman wearing black leather did not need to show up at his book event. I did weear my black leather jacket, tho! I am still not really sure what I will take, but after I get back from vacation, I will have to concentrate on it.

Marsha--

That's absolutely wonderful that you were able to meet President Clinton and get his autograph! I'm very jealous but happy for you! :flower: I wish he would stop by Tampa for a signing. I'd be sure to be in line.

Barbara--

Too cool about your dress! I'm sure you'll look beautiful in it! Just like a Disney Princess! princess:

We haven't really purchased anything in the way of cruise wear yet. But, we did buy some water shoes for the rafting expedition. And, we got a good deal ($4.49 per pair) at Target! Considering that I'll probably never wear them again, I didn't want to spend too much and it looks like I didn't have to.

I've been here all day but I just check in now and then. Not much happening apparently. Could we all actually be working ? I shudder at the thought.....

I am here between my naps! I actually got to go out yesterday and my incision came open and now I am supposed to just lay down at all times! Every so often I come to see whats new! Compared to what Mel and Bob is going through this is nothing! :grouphug:

Dan

I wanna go home! :crazy2:

Only 1:20 left for the week! :Pinkbounc

Tracy

Sure. Now you people are coming out of the wood work. :)

Lynn--

Work? I'm not sure what you mean... ;)

Dan--

Repeat after me: I must be still. I must not move.

Tracy--

Only 1:20 left? I certainly wish I had Fridays off. :teeth:

I work hard for those Fridays off ;)

Midwest DIS meet tomorrow :rotfl2:

Heading down to Chicago area tomorrow to see Nancy and David and the kids. Oh and shopping at Talbots Outlet :cheer2:

I'm here too. Just nursing Lara's sprained/twisted ankle. Despite injuring it at dance class last night, she still danced in her school's Talent Show this morning (which was the dress rehearsal for tonight's performance at Open House).

She was limping and in pain afterwards, so I picked her up right after school. She's now tucked on the couch watching TV with her leg elevated and an ice pack on her ankle. Three hours to next performance ...

Hasn't been a whole lot of great news on this thread, sad!

Marsha, how exciting for you! I already have the book, do you think he'd have signed my copy?

Barbara, sounds like a great dress! How about shoes! One can never can have too many shoes!

Kmiles, have you heard about this...

I have, RobinMarie!

The production is faily new. Not sure if we'll get to see it or not because of timing and such.

We are going to try to see Cats in June though.

No where near us to see it, was hoping you could preview it for us!

Have you seen CATS before? We saw it for the first time last January.

Oh well - time for a confession -- I actually did some work today :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Just checking in between calls and such.

This afternoon is dragging .... wish I had Friday's off.

Yes. I've seen Cats once before and I loved it. Can't wait to see it again. I am a HUGE cat person. (Well, huge animal person in general but cats have a special place in my heart!) I think that's why I like it so much.

Disney on the Record does sound great. It's playing at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center not too far from me. Perhaps we'll see it, who knows! If we do I'll give you a full report. You can trust me on that. ;)

Kiele sprained her ankle playing hopscotch on Monday. Yesterday it was so swollen and red that I took her in for x-rays. Nothing broken but she did do a good job spraining it. Supposed to have a karate tournament on Saturday and I kept thinking about our Disney trip in less than 3 weeks. I didn't want to deal with a hop a long 8 year old!

NEW Acapulco shore excursion worksheet now posted!!!

I can't believe all the excursions are over by 5:45!

Busy day today at work so couldn't post as much as I wanted to. :sad2: Off the clock since 3:30 so now I can play.

I took down all the "baby" stuff from Haley's room and my Mom made her Dora curtains so they're all hung. I also ordered those removable stickers for Haley's room and they came today so I put them up (along with my little helper). Of course they're Dora and all the characters from her show. When Lenny came home Haley had to take him to show him her "new" room.
