Does anyone know anything about the wine packages yet? I hope they don't only offer 14 bottles. I'd be interested in a 7 bottle package but 14 bottles seems like too much to drink over the course of the cruise at dinner time. I'm also wondering about reservations for Palo. I would be interested to know if upon boarding people will be able to make more than one reservation. If they do let people do that there might be a big scramble to get reservations. Also someone mentioned the number of formal nights. Does anyone know which days the formal nights will be on or when the Pirate's night will be?

Hi Kath ~ Peggy Sue said they were still working on the Wine Packages.

I did not want to bother her any further but they have only just received this information. I figured I would wait a little bit before I phone back.

They are still working out the Kinks!

I think we're set on the rafting excursion but at this point I'm not sure if we'll do it through Disney or the other company.

One more thing completed. Our cruise is paid off. Now we can start thinking about excursions.:dancer:

Sorry! I didn't look to see what was offered to Canadians! I just assumed it was the same...

Just to give credit the correspondence was orignally started by Buckaroo's Dad, and I got in afterwards so he is responsible for the deals we are getting....

PS He just replied again and said children must be over 2 years old to be passengers. That is the rule, but most wouldn't want their youngsters on an ATV I'm sure anyway.

Cheers,
Grumbo

Grahame :
Let me figure out a package deal for your group that will include a net rate for our services.
On the other side we will have the Credit Card charge service incorporated into our website by the end of May, instead of the wire transfer deposit
In terms of size of group let me tell that with Holland American and Norwegian Cruise Lines we operate a system of 4 or 5 departures every hour and a half, starting at the earliest arrival of the tenders at Pier. Each of these groups having up to 15 ATVs, so all in all up to 75 tours from the cruises could be handled at ease, with conform and safety.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if any doubt arises

My email.............

Hi Alex:

The big issue for our group is that we are a group of over 500. We have nearly 25% of the ship when it comes into port. What we'd like to do is arrange as a group, with everyone within our group (meaning smaller family groups of 3 or 4) being able to give you their deposit by way of a credit card. I know that you had mentioned insofar as wiring money to an account, but I know discussing it with a large number of people that they will not do this. This concept may be used by businesses but is totally alien to us. I have never done it and not sure how to do it. Sorry :o)

What we'd like to do is merely reduce the cost by using the "free" rentals for everyone. I'm not sure how difficult this would be but we could probably work something out. I don't want to profit personally from the bookings, but merely share the savings with those participating. Of course just a portion of our group would be coming, but I really need to put up on our website how much it is per person, how to reserve and make deposit (I have the form, but the wiring of money as I say is not going to work with this group), what times we will be picked up at the port, and also there are questions as to ages of children as passengers, and you pretty well gave me the rules when discussing my daughter as to operating the ATV. I have tried to speak with you but keep missing you :)
Thanks,
Grahame

I just found this over on the DL board... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=783970

It says that you can convert your WDW park hoppers to DL/DCA park hoppers. I didn't know that. I didn't know if this would be of any use to all the fools....

I know, I know....you thought I was working... :rotfl2:

you have always been able to use a wdw ticket at dl, because traditionally dl has been a little cheaper. You can not however use DL tickets at WDW.

With the new Magic your way tickets, I have no clue if they can be used at DL. I would assume so, but I have not personally done it. However I would assume that the ticket would have to be valid at WDW in order to be valid at DL. Meaning if it has expired, it won't work. I also don't know if it must have the hopper option to be used at all, but I would assume if it doesn't have the hopper option than it won't convert to a DL hopper ticket.

I'll see if I can get some more info on this.

I just posted a question on the other thread mentioned above but I'll ask here too. If you just have a water park left on your hopper can you somehow convert that to a DL ticket?

I just didn't know it and I figured that there may be others out there like me (scary thought.... :earseek: ). I just thought I let everyone know that.

I know that unless you pay extra, the MYW tickets expire something like 13 days from the first day they're used, and you have to pay extra to get "hopper" tickets.

Thanks for the info though....I love how we all share. We'll show the practice cruisers, we don't just post jibberish. :rotfl2:

Actually my main reason for my post was that I'm not sure if anyone has actually tried converting the new tickets to DL, and how that works, though I suspect they will. Also about the hopper ticket, rereading it I don't think I made much sense. I meant that if you don't buy the hopper option on the MYW tickets that the DL tickets are probably only 1 park tickets if they convert.

As for water park or plus feature, I'm pretty sure that the answer is no they will not convert. I recall someone elsewhere stating that plus features are valueless when converting. On the old WDW tickets you could buy a 5 day PHP ticket, use the plus features, then upgrade the whole cost of the ticket to a 7 day and you didn't loose any value for used days because the Plus features didn't count.

I tried looking up the rules for converting WDW tickets to DL and couldn't find it.

Slowly but surely, we are making progress.....DD got her Hep A vaccination this morning. She fussed ahead of time, but the CDC site has a link to a nice map showing all of Mexico and Central America in red (meaning high incidence)...and that finally convinced her.

I can still see the school having a hissie fit when I tell them that she will be starting 2 weeks after the other kids, but we'll deal with that down the road. They want my tuition $ too much to make much fuss. I'm even going to suggest that they enroll her as of 9/4/05 so that the time we are gone won't count as days absent.
