You might be addicted to the internet if....

You can't remember what you used to do, before you went on-line.
You send yourself email.
Your sole purpose in life is to perfect your homepage.
You used to be an alcoholic, but got cured because it was interfering with your web surfing.
You get up at 3am, just to check your email.
While watching TV, you yell out "ROTFL" at the funny parts.
Your dog has his own homepage.
Your kids ask you if you like web surfing more than them, and you don't answer immediately.
You had to get another computer, just to store your bookmarks.
You write interoffice memos, with HTML tags in them.
The only reason you go to work, is to use the company's internet account.
You maintain a list of sites that are under construction and visit them weekly to check on their status.
You introduce your significant other as your "domain server".
You go for an eye exam and the optometrist tells you that you have perfect 640X480 vision.
You have nightmares about constantly getting "Chat Room Full" messages.

Nope you don't have to be an RN...it is just bestowed as an honor...It has to be unanimous among the 3 of us though. JiminyCfan is an honorary Dudette.

And proud of it, too!

Welcome Katy. I am sorry to hear of your loss. We have been married for 30 years. I can't even fathom what you are going through. This cruise is just what the doctor ordered!

BONNIE:Did you forget that we made Derek Disney Dude #1 when we went to
WDW in December & made him wear the T-shirt several years ago.

Danced the night away :dancer: at the "Spring Fling"but ate too much.

Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

That's right. Derek is #1, Darren is #2 and Ted is #3.

I received this today from Shotover Jetboats....
The Acapulco.com site gives you a 10% discount on prices........
These prices seem MUCH better than DCL's prices for excursions....
The Rafting is $99 with DCL and the Jetboat is $84. Plus the discount for children is HUGE in comparison to the DCL one as well as the age difference...

Cheers,
Grumbo

PC: verandah cabin vs. front of ship viewing; We were able to see more of the locks at the front of the ship. You can see a lot of stuff from the cabin too, just not the same view.

heat & humidity: I posted this early on, but for those of you with asthma or other breathing problems, be sure you have your rescue inhaler with you at all times. I rarely use my rescue inhaler, but needed it in Panama because of the humidity.

Thanks for the schedule of events! I just bought a formal, so now I need to decide what to wear for the other formal night.

Sisterhood-I would love to be part of the sisterhood however I would prefer to be unigue, hmmm...possibly the fearless harpist? Jenny-you could be the court jester with all your jokes!

The rafting sounds terrific Grumbo! Thanks for the info...now I have to convince the other dudettes! :rolleyes1

We've got four here for the rafting, are there any volunteers who want to go with us so we can schedule their transportation?

Barbara, I volunteer for the position of cartographer extraordinaire!

Good morning, fearless sisters and lovable looneys ! Just a quick update for those of you in chat last night about my dad, so far so good. All tests negative. Obviously, something is going on, but no stroke or heart related issues are known at this time. They are calling it a vaso-vagal episode, but the blurry vision was what concerned me the most. CT scan ok, echo ok, blood work all okay so far. I'm taking the day off and going to the hospital. Thanks for being there at my immediate time of crisis. I was so shaken up I couldn't stay on line. Thanks, Arlene, for thinking of him for the prayer list. You are such a gem !

Lynn, that is good news!! :cheer2:

Thoughts and prayers continued for your Dad!

Drive safely to the hospital and take it easy!! ;)

Thanks for the update!!

We were very concerned for you and family after you left chat! ;)

Lynn, glad to hear everything is ok so far. That is what they said about Bill after my Lasik surgery -- a vaso-vagal incident. Hopefully they'll be able to determine what caused it and then treat it as necessary. :grouphug:

OK I have written back to the lady re these excursions and advised her that we have over 500 people within our group. I enquired as to deposit requirements, method of payment, and if we can get any further discounts for groups of this size.
I'll let you guys know when I get a response.

Cheers,
Grumbo

Thanks for the update, Lynn. I'm glad things are looking more positive. I'll continue praying for your father and your whole family.

Keep us posted when you can.

Arlene

Does anyone know anything about the wine packages yet? I hope they don't only offer 14 bottles. I'd be interested in a 7 bottle package but 14 bottles seems like too much to drink over the course of the cruise at dinner time. I'm also wondering about reservations for Palo. I would be interested to know if upon boarding people will be able to make more than one reservation. If they do let people do that there might be a big scramble to get reservations. Also someone mentioned the number of formal nights. Does anyone know which days the formal nights will be on or when the Pirate's night will be?
