Val,
It's almost 60 degrees here too at 8:15pm! But, it's been raining heavily all day. The girls were stuck inside all day!

Paul
Sorry to hear that! If it were that warm here, the kids would all be out with umbrellas taking advantage of the warm weather! :umbrella: I am SO ready for spring!

Thanks Janet, great idea!

We have a beautiful day here, hopefully it will reach you soon! It's still 60 degrees at 6pm! All the kids on the block are out playing some sort of cross between dodge ball and lacrosse. I think they're making it up as they go :rolleyes2

You're Welcome!

As payment, please send us your warm weather!

We've had such a mish mash of stuff and now it's very very windy and cold!

Remind of this when I'm complaining how hot it is come this August!

My mother's customer just got back from Panana Cruise and she asked how hot it was and she said..."Think of it this way...Feels like a blow torch on your back!!!" :scared1: :scared1:

YIKES!!!!!!!! Why do we do this to ourselves by going in August??!!!! DCL better never have the A/C broke down!! Can you imagine??? :scared1: :earseek:

It was cute! DD and her friend loved it.

My car picked today to have issues. The 'check engine' light decided to make an appearance and stay lit. It happened just before we got to the dealership, so we stopped and they are looking at it. They gave me a loaner and will finish up the diagnostic on Monday. Could be an injector or the engine control unit, which apparently was defective on my model year. Just what I need, to spend more money. Blech! :scared: :crazy2:

Oh and the people who were going to take care of our cats while we are gone have decided that they're going to Fiji instead, so we need to come up with plan B. How do you pick a good kennel?

Look in the Yellow Pages Val...
Under RESTAURANTS - (Chinese)

What are the prequistites??? Don't you have to be an RN???? :teeth:

Nope you don't have to be an RN...it is just bestowed as an honor...It has to be unanimous among the 3 of us though. JiminyCfan is an honorary Dudette.

I have resurfaced from the basement, the plumber says he'll be here first thing on Monday morning and it's going to cost 1300 to replace our electric water heater with a gas one. Meanwhile, the basement carpeting although as dry as I can get it, is starting to smell funky.

I'll take any of the dudettes prn shifts that they are giving away. Tme to start working weekend to pay these puppies off :teeth:

Dee (who is longing for a hot shower)

Dee, You can come down here at get some of my extra time. We'll even throw in a nice hot shower for ya. All it involves is listening to hollering little sick babies.

Two new cruisers listed! :)

Fabulous!

I'm on call this weekend and one of the homes has a flooded basement. Can't get anyone to return my call and can't figure out why the pump isn't working. The good thing is not too many people try to call out sick on rainy weekends like this. I feel sorry for next weekend's person though!

It's going to be pretty wet around here for awhile. The dogs are turning the backyard into a grassless mud area.

I read a pretty nice report on the cruise report board. I love reading trip reports, it's the next best thing to planning my own cruise.

Denine, sorry to hear your sinus infection. I'm a big believer of guaffenisin (sp). I'm going to try a change in diet this spring to see if my allergies feel better. I'll let you know if it works!

Today we plan on going to see OKLAHOMA! Victoria has never seen it before and she loved CATS.

Did everyone spring ahead?

Robin, Tooth fairy gives a dollar bill and some change usually.

Missed chat last night. I'm wiped out from another day of dance competition. You'd think I danced or something. It's the up and down of it all during the day and the mental nervousness associated with it. By the next day, I feel like I've been run over by a truck. It was worth it though. They got "High Gold" awards for both dances this time. You thought we were shocked with the "Gold" last time....you should have seen our faces this time!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Happy April everyone ! :sunny:

Dee-I have a couple full time positions open...however would prefer someone who can shower! Sorry to hear of you hot water troubles. My heater went 2 years ago, just before leaving for WDW and the hot water heater was getting old so they replaced that at the same time...I feel for you.

Robin enjoy Oklahoma! It's great having a child who enjoys things like that.

Went with DD#2 to her hospitals Spring Fling. Good food, good music, good time.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I think this should be the official wine of the "Ship of Fools!" I'm going to look for this Janet! Hope you had a great lunch with you mom. :)

Val - Hoping your car gets fixed without too much damage to the pocket. We're looking forward to meeting you, Joe, and the girls in July! Thanks for the movie review. We did not make it yesterday afterall, hope to go later today. Mel, sounds like it is a good choice for you and Brianne!

Well, I have a full blown sinus infection. Plus we had more of the white stuff (which is still coming down) to give a us a new snow record. I really could have done without that.

Mel, we'll just have the LooneyHOODs spray us with water from our special Sisterhood water spray bottles -you know, we'll just snap our fingers everytime we need a cool spray and wa-la - no worries from the heat!
