I just got another request for a copy of our newsletter from a Westbound cruiser. I did explain our position on keeping the newsletter only for our eastbound cruiser. I did suggest maybe having a couple designated chat times in another chat room that we will use for guest chatters. Maybe we could have a couple times with the Westbounders before they go on their cruise? What does everyone think?

Tracy

I think it would be a great idea; as you mentioned though - designated in a new chatroom.

tracy,

That is fine, but i would strongly suggest another chat room with a different password??

I agree with Mel and Arlene on this since we don't want just anyone to be able to join our chats.

I'm fine with anyone chatting. I'm fine with no password. I like the idea of anyone feeling included and welcome. The more the merrier!

Happy Anniversary Val and Joe!

Good morning all!

Just a reminder: We're still looking for two individuals to act as judges for the Spring Photo Contest!

Judges thus far include those who won the first, second, and third place in the Winter Photo Contest. Tracy, Arlene, and Marsha, respectively.

So, if you would be interested in judging this contest, please let us know! Keep in mind that judges cannot submit photos for consideration and thus cannot win.

Hi folks :grouphug: - been looking at Cafepress and searching for a v'necked t-shirt (don't know what Americanos would call that - always get confused between t and polo - until I spot the horse :rotfl: :rotfl: )

Can't find what I'm looking for, :confused3 , but know I can get it in a UK t-shirt printer - so wondered whether someone could make the jpg files available on the rolodex for Verandah Man's "bringing the magic home" and Ivanova's pin design. :wizard:

Then Pam, DD Joy and I can source locally.

Many thanks

Allan

Allen, please check the other site for my answer on the art.

THANKS, RENEE AND GINNY.
I am going to call COSTCO and see if I can transfer for a discount. Do either of you have travel insurance?

Sorry GRUMBO, but if all the jibberish about COSTCO saves me a few $$$ it will all be worth it. Maybe someday I will actually visit the store. LOL

Ginny, maybe we could meet for lunch someday?

Darlene

Probably the only good thing about ****** is you can get a full gourmet hot dog with large drink for $1.79 or $1.99.
Maybe you could do lunch there ;)

How large is that drink???
It's a long ride home, you know! :teeth:

Darlene - it would be great to meet one day for lunch. I can see Costco from my building.

I dont have Travel Insurance yet but will definately be buying it - I have gotten a quote from Access America (who offers kids free) and its only $121. I used them last year and they were very good to deal with in getting reimbursed for our hurrricane related expenses so I will probably go with them again.

Mark-I sent you a PM with our flight info. :goodvibes

DD is on Spring Break this week. She is headed off to our local Zoo for a camp day and it is raining. :umbrella: Our 70 degree weather didn't last too long. We are back to rainy and wet.

I was just looking at trip insurance and got very confused. This is the only trip I haven't had insurance from the original booking. The thing I am most concerned about if "pre-existing conditions".

Can someone help me understand the "pre-existing conditions" clause? They had options of 120 days, 180 days, 60 days...
You know I am asking because of Stan. I guess none of them will cover him. Kicking myself for not getting the insurance at booking as usual.

I'm not on your cruise but wanted to tell you that you can stop at a COSTCO on your way to the port from LAX. It's off the 405 freeway and Rosecrans Blvd. If you're coming from Long Beach airport or John Wayne, there's a COSTCO in Signal Hill (near Long Beach) - off the 405 and Cherry Avenue South.

Just in case you can't stand to be too far away from a COSTCO.... :cool1:
