August 19 2012 Dream 5 night Cruise!

It's so far away, but we're on it! DS, DDiL and our 3 DGC who will be 7, 8 and 9. It's our 3rd "all family" DCL cruise, but DH and I have been on two others as well.

Who else is going?

I can't believe i finally found someone else that is going to be on the same cruise . I thought i was going to have the whole ship to ourselves, I have a 9 year ols also.

We're under 14 months away! I suppose it's still too early for most to be getting excited!!! Glad you're aboard! IT seems that our DGC who just moved to Florida will now be missing their first few days of school, but no one in the family wants to cancel, so we're still on board, too!

We'll be there too, along with our two adult kids, their spouses and all 6 grandkids (9,8,7,6,5 and 2.5)

It's too early to get overly-excited. Otherwise the next 13 months will just be too long. Talk to me again in May 2012 and you'll see excited ;-)

Hi there! We will be joining you on this cruise! We just booked it while onboard the Dream 8/25-8/28 cruise. We didn't get to do Castaway Cay because of the hurricane, so thought a double dip would give us a better chance!!! We are still here in Disney, for an extended 3 days of vacation due to our flight getting cancelled on our way home! Hope next August is better than this one! But stuck at Disney really isn't bad!!!

We are Melissa, mom, and Meg who will be 13 at the time of the cruise.

We just got off of the 9/1 3 night cruise. We rebooked for 8/19/12. We are looking forward to 2 days on Castaway Cay as well. We are always up for a FE.

Yea! We just did the FE for the 1st time, and loved it! I already have ideas for this cruise!

We had to change. The DGC would be missing the first day of school, and it began to worry the oldest one. So we're going on the 10th. Sooner for us, but we will miss you all!

Yes!!! and lots of ppl to babysit my son so that I can go to the clubs!!! I just found out we have 1 of the worst 2 rooms on the ship??? According to a review. Luckily this is my first cruise so I won't have anything to compare it to!

I read a few posts, don't even remember where. All I do is sit at work and google disney cruise reviews. I am going to be in 5524, which has a Navigators verandah. 5504 (Ithink)which is on the other side of the ship, same room. (sorry not good with cruising terms yet) Has a reported 40ish% obstructed view and the ppl in the room next to it can see into your stateroom??? Because they have an extended verandah!?! It was recategorized since the blasting posts. I finally found some pics last night. Doesn't seem too bad. Excited!

In reality, with so much to do on board, how much time are you really going to spend in your room? I wouldn't worry about it. As long as the pillow is good to your head when you finally collapse at the end of the day, you are good to go!

I wouldn't worry about it at all. Face it... it's a Disney cruise. Who needs to sleep!

Hopefully not much!! But my son will need a nap, as long as I can see the ocean I am happy. Does anyone know what the max time is for the nursery. In one place I read 10 hours, another I read 15.
