ok...I guess that makes sense....I'm just gonna pay everything at the end...won't matter anyway, I'm just going to charge and I've saved up the money to cover everything.

I always give the minimum as well and then adjust upwards based on service. Someone who have to basically do nothing to get less than minimum. These guys work so hard! I read a book about a crew's life/experiences on Carnival and these people work like dogs to serve the passengers. So if they have a bad day, I'm more empathetic now, in my book minimum isn't all that much to pay these guys. We just charge it to our onboard account once on board.

I'm married to a complete idiot!!!!!! He's walking around Times Square comparing exchange rates for the Euro right now!!! He's been doing this for like 45 min and has DONE NOTHING!!!! All over .02 in the exchange rate, so like $12 since like the idiot he is, he didn't take a check with him to take out cash out of the bank! And is stuck with our ATM limit of $600 right now to get Euro.... UURRGGHH!!!!!!!!!! He's such a wait until the last minute guy, I've been telling him for MONTHS to get this done! He's going to have to go back again tomorrow, since he's woefully unprepared as usual......

Son and I leave for Germany tomorrow !! We take off from Raleigh at 2:00,
take off from Atlanta at 5:40 and then land in Stuttgart at 9:00 am on the
11th (3:00 am EST)....I should be able to get back on the Disboards Wed or Thurs to wish everyone else safe travels

Packing is very difficult - I really miss hubby right now who always does this for us. Hard to get each suitcase to weigh under 50 lbs and we have 3

Yes. They are on three decks midship. Wash and dry are $2 each. Soap etc is $1. They take the kttw card so no change needed. If u are planning on doing laundry, pick up the Purex all in one sheets. Detergent and dryer sheet in one. They work really well and don't make a mess in the luggage (and take up no room)

Shawn, When you got your tickets here - did multiple tickets print out... I only got 1 ticket... but I printed the screens as I went along and confirm I ordered 3..... DH thinks I did something wrong since they were not timed tickets.... Were yours timed?

Put all (most) of my outfits together today, and need to do laundry tomorrow to finish up. DD's mostly done as well (pending said laundry).

We leave for CA on Thursday, does that count? Otherwise we fly out Sunday evening.

Yes!!!!!! I'm finished packing. We leave for Paris tomorrow at 5:30pm. We're spending the day at DH's office near the airport since he has to work until midday. Boy does it feel good to be packed. I can't say it's all that organized but at least it's done.
