August 18, 2010...Can't wait for the MAGICal Mediterranean!!!

Done, dog goes to the kennel on the morning of the 17th and our friend is going to come to the house to take care of the rabbits.

Although we have two dogs and the kennel reservation was made a long time ago, my demented DH really meant the children...:confused3

BOTH are fantastic ideas!!!! I just spent 2 hours over a friends house having Brandon's khaki's hemmed for the trip. They're all done now, just a quick wash/dry then iron and they're ready for the suitcase!!!!! Yeah, something ready for the suitcase!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Brandon in the suitcase? Heavy checked bag is cheaper than a ticket....

Jim, you haven't met brandon yet... trust me it's cheaper to buy him a ticket then check him with luggage!!!!! He's not your average 9 year old!!!!!

So after hemming and hawing and changing my mind a hundred times about what to do in Corsica - I booked the country train. Concierge called today and said the tour operator cancelled the excursion. So now I can either try it on my own or book something else....

Any suggestions...apparently not everything is left and I've done no planning on doing Corsica on my own and don't know that I have time to do the research.

So, we're doing sweet corsica in the morning to see some of the interior of the island, then doing the town on our own in the afternoon. I thought a little of both would be a good thing, instead of a boatload of Napoleon all day long.

We are doing sweet Corsica as well. This weekend will busy packing. Wish that I was further along. Trying to wrap up things at work. I got a new boss so this should be fun being away for two weeks without connected to work. Ugh! I think that I am more stressed about that than if I will be done packing.
But in one week, I won't care as we will be in Spain, awaiting to get on the Magic!

So I see all of you are packing......I guess that means I should start:rotfl: it has been crazy at work, plus we are getting ready for my nephew to move in with us for the start of university.....so I am at the point where as long as I pack some clean undies a few tops and some capris I figure I'm ready:lmao:
So if you see a slightly mismatched canadian wandering around you'll know who it is!!
Seriously though packing is this weekend. After our Asia trip it won't take much thought. Similar weather and dress codes
Happy packing everyone!! Now, if I could just figure out how to sabotage my work blackberry:rotfl:

Mindy, we're just walking off the ship, going to the market right off the ship, then heading for some time at the beach. There is a pretty nice public one not a far walk from the ship. After all the long days we're having in Naples, Rome and La Speiza we thought a more relaxed day was in order.

We are doing sweet corsica too... My dream was to travel south to Bonnifacio... but it will take too much time

After the excursion we will walk around Ajjacio... We are taking it easy in La Spezia and doing the 5ts --

update on fish extender - shipped today - fingers crossed.... :tinker:

was just checking weather for next week to get an idea what we are up against. the hottest places will be tunis and malta....temps high 90s to low 100s. everything else in the mid to upper 80s.
