Goodness!!!!! I know how you felt!!! Thank heavens it is not broken, honestly kids do keep you on your toes. I never had any grey hairs until I had DD!!!!;)

Hopefully the swelling will have gone down by then and it will be a bit easier for him.

Mindy, how did your son get on at Camp? Was everything OK?, I wasn't sure if it was next week, or this week? We kept DD off her last day, I just thought that for one day, it wasn't worth the risk.

Just over a week to go, next week is going to be hectic getting everything together - packing and putting the FE's together.

He's leaving tomorrow.....I'm so sad....but I see that accidents can happen anywhere....it's just not knowing what's going on for the 5 days he's away that's killing me....I have been so weepy today it's not funny

See I told you...positive attitude...it will work out...now you've replaced this thing to worry about with Brandon's wrist....does it ever end????
 
Had a bit of a scare today. We were at my nephew's birthday party and Brandon fell back on his wrist and heard a "snap". His fingers swelled up to twice their size. We left the party and took him to the doctor for an x-ray. Luckily it's NOT broken. He's a bit bummed that it's not, because we had talked up how he could get all the characters to sign his cast to make him feel better! He's in a removable splint until the 18th, the day we board!!!!!

:scared1: So glad that it's not broken. I'm sure he will get over the no cast thing as soon as he jumps in the pool;).

Oh my! this is such good news. don't have to stress anymore about getting to barcelona but the more this gets pushed back, the possibility increases of a strike during or at the end of our cruise. either one of these scenarios is not good for us. sounds like the union and govt are still miles apart.

I can imagine!! Keep up that Positive thinking and it will allow you to pack with only one child to worry about sussing it out!!!

So pleased about the air traffic controllers. I didn't care about getting back, just getting there!! Poor Vicky has had the extra expense of booking earlier flights too.

Have to say I did my Wk8D1 this morning, I ran for 30 minutes without stopping. I covered 2.71 miles, so not quite the 3 I was hoping for. Do you know it was easier than I thought. The podcast for WK8 5k101 is amazing. Even if you are not doing that programme, download it and run it!

Off home today, hopefully to do some organising and packing.

Did W8D1 today 28 min of straight running. I ran for just about 2 miles STRAIGHT!!!! No stopping, new sneaks were AWESOME!!!!!
 
Put my baby boy on the bus this morning and got into my car to go to work and sobbed like a baby....does it ever get easier?????

No Mindy it does not... I sometimes just look at DS in the back seat and get teary eyed because his feet are not just hanging off the seat any longer... Have a good day.... He will be home soon enough and then we are going on a cruise!!!!

wouldn't you want to pay gratuities based on service? I don't understand prepaying them. How do you reward those who give you exemplary service vs the mediocre ones? Isn't that what tips are all about? I see alot of people doing it, what are pros and cons? Just trying to understand. BTW, I know you're in a suite, as we are, they don't give guidelines for suites and I understand the concierge is now considered a tipped position.
