I just took care of a bill that will be due while gone, and got DD's pins and lanyard for trading. I'd lost one of the allen wrenches that come with the locking backs kit, and had to run to Home Depot to find a set with an even tinier one in it. Now everything on her lanyard has the same lock that the remaining wrench fits!

We're not taking the pins the kids already have and their lanyards....we bought pins on ebay for the kids to use for trading. REmember only trade with cast members...other passengers won't give you as good of a trade...they CM's are told to make trades that are good for the guests.

DD knows! We bought a new batch off ebay last WDW trip, and I'm letting her bring 2 favorites not for trading and 2 intended for trading. The weight gets to be too much otherwise. My lanyard has a few extra in case she just can't decide ! It's my understanding that there are designated "trading times"? That will make it so much easier!!!!

They do have designated times, but sometimes the best places to get them are going into the topsiders, usually a CM has a lanyard on when they greet you...we usually have breakfast there,...since it's literally above my cabin. Also we made friends with the people working in the gift shop and they would look for unusual pins for us and save them and trade with us.

Well poo! I ordered a fish extender and pillow case in the beginning of July - per the order should have arrived this week...I contacted the seller and I am #6... I have emailed her back to see if she has any suggestions.. casue my next step is to dispute the order since she has not fullfilled her commitment on the order.... I am upset now! Guess I need to find my OLD plain one...

sorry to hear that. I ordered my FE from someone that I see on the boards JenGC and she had it to me 3 days after I placed the order and it's fantastic.

By you all that are making the lists of outfits. I started it, and man, that's hard! After DD went to bed, I started trying stuff on. I think I've finalized, um, yeah one outfit. Sigh. DD I'm sure will fight me about everything except if a dress is involved. DH.... let's see if I can even get him to contribute to the list....

Jen does do things quickly so she might be able to get one to you in time if you manage to get your money back off the original seller. She managed to get one of my orders to the UK four days after I placed it

Saw something about a wrench and pin-trading? Does that stop the backs coming off? Do you need special backs to put on them? DD is too young for trading yet but would love to have some on her lanyard, I've just been worried about her losing them. Any advice from the experts would be fantastic

Mindy, I bought some pins on ebay for dd to trade and out of 11, only 9 are genuine!!! The rest are Scrappers. (ie. fake pins from China). Apparently CM's will still trade them, whatever they are given, as it is very difficult to tell a scrapper. Have a look at the threads on here re. pins. I am not sure what to do now, looking at pins that dd traded last time (we bought a load of Disney ones on the ship), she has also received Scrappers in return - from CM's too!

What a shame, If you can't order one in time from JenC, can't you sort odf brighten yours up a bit with a bit of glitter and stuff?

I thought the train post was scary, but on a more positive note, did you read about the 18 Algerians that were picked up by the Magic from a small boat in the Med? Amazing.

Well did my last run of Wk 7 today, so Monday, start WK8, 30 mins running non stop, which should equate to a 5k. Two of those and then final one on the ship!

Having a productive time at Mums, put all my magnets into files, ready to print when I get home. Got the last of my FE Gifts and lables are ready to print out too. Had my hair done, not sure about the colour (had some highlights), but not a lot I can do about it now, hopefully it wil 'grow' on me

Booked Colleseum and Pisa tickets. Phew!

I am so sorry to hear about your order. I would tell her you are going to put in a dispute, if she still does not get you your order then fill the dispute. Just so you know it might take a few weeks to get the dispute resolved.

She said it will ship Monday. If it is not here in time I will be placing a dispute. I am really taken aback by this.... If I am making something and placing it on EBAY - and I get overwhelmed with order then I would take my listing down until I knew It was reasonable for me to take on more.. And she is highly recommended here on the boards too!... it is over 2 weeks late per the order time... 20 days! July 11 was the order date and pay date.

Hopefully she makes good and ships faster than 1st class...

DH said he checked ours when he got them, none of them are scrappers.

Went to Walmart and got little pocket fans...they had the mister fan bottles with the lanyards, but I just didn't want to deal with carrying those around...these are small and will fit in my fanny pack.
