August 18, 2010...Can't wait for the MAGICal Mediterranean!!!

And how did you find out what your rotaion is? Also what attire are you taking for Lumiere's?

Jennifer

Jennifer, Mindy is in a cat 3, concierge suite so she has access to the concierge prior to sailing to make requests and them to help her with her ressies. Mindy, does this also mean we'll receive the priority tenders with you when we all try to get off in La Spieza?

Jennifer - since I have a cat 3 cabin, I have concierge services. I found out on a thread on the main board that you can request your dining rotation, so I did. Only concierge level can.

What program thingie??? I'm confused.... DS has sign in/out privileges, more so he can sign himself in.....

For those kids without signing privilages, a club worker will come and collect the kids at a certain time; we have to tell the waiter so the meals won't be delayed. Sounds good to me!

Yes I will, in both La Spieza and Cittavecchia. From past experience it will include my family and anyone traveling with us - in other words, I'm pretty sure I can get everyone on our tour on.

Oh, now I understand. Thanks.

Kim- Dine and play, IMO was a complete waste. Usually DS wasn't done with his dinner when they came in, even though we had told our servers that we wanted to utilize the program. They also don't make an announcement that the CM's are there. They just show up in the entrance of the dining room and you're on your own to figure out they are there. We did see then when in Luminere's, as our table was like 3 away from main entrance. In the other 2, we were farther away and NEVER saw them come in. Usually DH or I ran DS up to the clubs when he finished. Also, the kids don't have time for dessert if using dine and play, as they come in around 9:15 and DS always wanted dessert, so never once left with the CM's. In reality it was only 2 nights we saw them on a 7 night cruise, so only twice he didn't leave with them. What I'm saying, it's a good idea in theory, but in practice, not so much......

Is it the Barcelona flight you have yet to book? Are you going out of cincy?

I'm a little disappointed that our dinner rez for Palo is on Sunday instead of Saturday with you all. I planned it on our wedding anniversary.

Hey everyone! We are traveling on the Magic as well! We are active duty military stationed in Germany taking our 4 month old daughter *she will be 6.5 months in August*!!! She is a seasoned traveler, we are going to venice next week, she has already been to Prague, Rothenberg, Nuremberg, Munich, the Alps, etc. We would LOVE it if anyone is interested in doing some on our own excursions to partner up-- we are interested in private tours pretty much everywhere, specifically Naples, Rome, and La Spezia. We use an ergo carrier with her so no worries about strollers or anything like that.

Welcome aboard!!!!! We do have some private groups for both Rome and La Spezia, but I know La Speiza is full as I'm the organizer and I believe Rome is as well. Maybe some others who are not on our tours will be interested in doing a private excursion with you.

Hi! I'm the Rome organizer, and we're topped at 16, as is Lori, I think. I know that a few others were looking to get a group going, but they haven't been posting what they are up to. I'm sure someone will speak out when they see your posts!
