Hi - How did people fare in the snow this storm. We had about a foot and two snow days. I should have been planning and on the boards since I didn't leave the house but instead caught up on laundry. Can't seem to ge DH to discuss what he would like to do in each port. It is his first visit to Italy so I want him to really research what he would like to see. Hopefully I can get him to concentrate on it soon.

Hi Susan, we had about a foot and half and the kids two snow days... AND they're off Fri and Mon, so no school for them until Tues!!!! I really was just a lounge lizard for the last couple of days... My trainer couldn't even get over here, so I didn't even work out. I'm hoping she'll get here tomorrow!!!!! I'm just counting the days until we leave for WDW, which is in 42 days!!!!!!!

We had about 15 inches and 2 snow days from school. I still had to work from home and came down with an awful cold yesterday. My husband and I still haven't figured out our excursion yet either (except for the ones already booked in Rome and Florence). We just can't seem to get it together.

So I have one month until I owe the balance on my cruise....got most of it saved up but I'm putting it on my Disney card so I have 6 months to pay it off and an awful lot of Disney $$$.

NICE!!!! Mine is due in 2 months.... I'll charge it to get miles then pay it off like I usually do. I'll be so excited when I can pay it off!!!!!!! I"m sort of jealous that you get to next month... though I'll be in WDW to drown my sorrows. ;-)

So yesterday I looked at Swiss's site to see if the fare had dropped any more......and it had......to the tune of $800. Sigh. Shouldn't have looked.

We're going today to try and buy Sean a suit. He only has a winter-weight sports jacket (I think he still has it anyway), and we foresee the need for one anyhow. We tried at a more local store and they had no selection. However, we did get his tux measurements....

Lori - you will love paris...i was there on my honeymoon cruise 12 years ago (just for a day) and it was fantastic. We didn't get to go to the top of the eiffel tower, so take lots of pictures to share.

The suit we chose might actually work for formal night. We'll see after he alterations are done. I actually own somehomg formal and semi formal, so I'm going to get some more use from them!

We fly in the evening of the 16th.

I wouldn't stress on the formal wear. You may be too tired to even dress up after touring all day. On our last cruise my husband rented a tux from them (which he may do this time) and I wore a short black cocktail dress. We found we were more dressed up then a lot of people.

I agree... One year we dressed to the nines... DH in a dark formal suit, me in a black LONG evening gown, kids also appropriately dressed. We probably were the only ones this dressed up. On that cruise, we were so sick of dressing up, we boycotted semi-formal night and noticed that most everyone else did too!!! Also on our cruise last year, I noticed that most people didn't dress for either formal or semi-formal night. I think we'll wear nicer clothes, but definitely not suits, jackets or cocktail dresses for us!!!!!

We rarely have the opportunity to dress up, so we're going to take advantage of it. Sean needed the suit, I already have the clothes, the only have to do is Ashleigh, and there is nothing better that she likes than wearing dresses (girly girl). I'm looking forwArd to the posed family pics.....we are waaayyy overdue! For me, this is part of the fun!

Anyway, I just got the cutest thing in the mail from DCL. It's a Welcome to your Mediterranean Vacation booklet. It's really cute and just contains some tips about port location, opening time, recommended flight times, etc. There is also another page which lists the dates your booking window opens and when your final payment is due. I guess this means we're getting closer!!!! I just wish DCL would give me a room number....... I don't think I'll see one until after final payment, which for me is April 20th, though I'm paying it off on April 15th. Might as well have all the financial bleeding occur on one day......
