Like my trip schedule says below, we are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter from the 17th-22nd!

Will anyone else be there at that time?
Any suggestions on what we can't miss?
Can't wait to go!
Pretty new to this board and loving it and can't wait to talk to you all more!

Here's a pic of me and Scott:

Hey there!

Welcome to the boards!

Y'all are a cute couple!

What not to miss? :scratchin Hmm. That's a long list! :rotfl:

Is it your first time to Disney World?

If so, I'd say not to overwhelm yourself by trying to do everything. Try and take time to enjoy how detailed everything is.

No, it's not a first trip..... I've been a few times with my parents when I was younger, but haven't been since 2003?

Scott hasn't been since he was 8 years old... so yea...

Hi Josh, welcome to the boards. Looks like you have a good plan for your trip. Have you already made and gotten your ADRs?

Have fun on the boards, but there are a few on here you have to watch for. They can be sneaky and evil.:rolleyes1 LOL They know who they are, and will chime in soon enough I'm sure.

Oh and your BF has a wonderful name :) Even if I do say so myself.

Scott

Looks like a good itinerary to me. Never stayed at POFQ but definitely have it on my list.

Welcome to the nut house!

I am NOT one of the evil ones mentioned earlier.

This is a perfect likeness of me::angel:

Saddly we arrive the day after you leave. As for must do's, might need to share a bit about yourselves for people to suggest possible must do's for you. For me EP and AK a have several must do's. Also we love the La Nouba show, it's a great show.

Echoing others here: What a cute couple you are!!!!!!! Here's hoping you have a super incredible time!!!!!

I never even thought of La Nouba, we are doing that our first night down.

Josh, as long as you have Beaches & Cream on your itinerary, you're all good! ;)

I'm a big fan of your BF's name also. :thumbsup2

I'll be there with my guy from 8/19-8/25. We're doing the Grand for 4 nights and then one final night at Coronado Springs.
Have fun and book those ADR's!

I'm local, and I'm one of the evil ones :thumbsup2

I'm evil-lite :upsidedow

All the great things you love about evil, but less filling.

Welcome!:goodvibes

We will miss you by a couple of days.
If you tell us what things you are considering we can give you our opinions. We usually do one "special" thing each trip - La Nouba is fantastic! We have also done a couple of tours, Lunch With an Imagineer, resort photo session, fishing charter...I'm sure I am forgetting things.

Diner or drinks watching the fireworks is a must.

FYI - I'm one of the "Goodie 2 shoes"
These people just don't "get" me.
:flower3:

Hi!!

We'll be leaving back to Chicago on August 9th, so we'll miss ya!

I'd deffinately do la Nouba! You have Blue Man Group in Chi and it's better than the US show. Have FUN!!!
