Hi! I came looking for a thread for this sailing and couldn't find one.........so here it is:cheer2:.

We just got off the Dream last week and booked our next cruise while on board. This will be a super special trip to celebrate my 50th birthday.

Can't wait to start chatting with fellow Dreamers!

Sounds like we should throw a birthday party!

Sounds like a plan!!! This will be our 2nd time on the dream, have you ever done the FE thing as I would love to do that this time it looks like fun

This will be our second time on the Dream, too. I didn't do the FE on last week's cruise because I was overwhelmed at work and didn't feel I could put the time into making something good enough for it. With this second cruise occurring during summer vacation (I'm a teacher) I will have the time, and would very much like to do one. It looked like a lot of fun. I'm also going to make door decorations for our stateroom this time.....I loved seeing all the cool things people had on their doors.

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :goodvibes

have a great cruise!

I got an email from the cruise line today welcoming us back. I just wish it came with a fast forward time machine:).

We'll be on this cruise as well. It's my parents 50th anniversary and to help celebrate, they are bringing their three kids, spouses and grandchildren. My two brothers have never been on a Disney Cruise. There will be 11 of us total.

Your parents sure know how to celebrate!

Wow 50 years is awesome and what a cool way to celebrate!!! This year is my parents 40th but I don't think I could talk them in to celebrating that way as the rest of my family is in the UK

We just booked this cruise today! We will be celebrating our 10 yr anniversary & our son's 6th birthday. Is anyone going to participate in the FE?

Welcome to our thread! I can't think of a better way for you to celebrate your anniversary and your son's birthday. Have you taken a Disney cruise before? Does your son know about it, or will it be a surprise?

We haven't started talking about a FE group yet, but I bet there will be one.

We have never been on a Disney cruise before. We've been to Disney World twice, going back this Dec. We are keeping the cruise & Disney a surprise from our children- our other son will be 2 1/2 when we sail.

What a great surprise for the kids! My kids, currently 16 and 10, knew about the cruise we took in February, but they have NO idea I booked this one. They don't even know they're going back to WDW this summer:). I'm not really trying to surprise them with either one. I'll tell them about this summer on their last day of school, which isn't until June 28. I'm not telling them about the cruise until after we take this summer's trip.

You all are good at keeping surprises I tell the kids as soon as I book it as I can not keep a disney secret. My two girls will be 16 and 11 when we sail and I plan on taking part in a FE group.

The secret keeping is kind of a practical matter. We book so far ahead that I am uncomfortable telling them too soon, lest our finances change and we have to cancel. I'd rather be the only one disappointed than see my kids crushed by having a trip yanked away from them.

Oh I know what you meen we are planing to go to see my family in England this summer but the plane prices are way too high:(
