I have gotten a few PM's from people interested in a Spoons tournament. If you would like to play, PM me with your stateroom number and I can leave an in-room message stating when and where.

It will be hard to set it up before the cruise, because I don't know where we can have it, and I don't want to say at "on this day at such and such a time" without knowing what the ship activities will be.

Not long now!!!

Can anyone tell me about the kids club, do I need to register them before we board or wait til we get on the ship?
Also, does the oceaneers club need to be booked or do we just turn up for sessions that sound fun, do they close when full?
All very new to us, we've never been on a holiday where we have been able to leave our children ( my son is 7and my daughter is 3) Is it true that staff from the club will take kids straight from the restaurant?
Sorry for lots of questions, knowing my luck they will hate it and stay glued to me for 8 nights ( we have brunch booked at palo on the last at sea day, so I only need 2 hours grown up time, everything else is a bonus!)

This is our first Disney cruise, but the 3rd cruise we have done with our kids. What we always do for the Kids Clubs is register them when we board the ship and get a schedule of things going on and then we let them pick what things they want to go to. Usually they love the activities and want to go a lot of the time, but we don't make them go or anything. We went on a cruise once and my nephews were forced to go all day everyday and didn't want to and I would never do that. I like to spend time with the kids too!

Martini sounds good, that is one I want to do too! Did a beer one on another cruise and didn't like it as much as I thought I would though.

To book any of the tastings just go to Guest Services right after you board, they can fill up fast. And it's easy to go to since you board the ship in the Atrium, and Guest Services is in the Atrium you can do that then grab lunch and not have to worry about it after

Martini, Mixology, Rum/Mojito, Tequila/margarita, beer....I hope Disney spreads them out a little.

I learned at the last couple of martini tastings that the only constant in a martini is the glass, there is a martini for everyone's taste.

We are in 2 adjoining cabins 2141 (Pete and I) and the boys (Colin, Liam and Aiden) are in 2139.

We will be doing the same with the possible exception of beer. I think I saw Sparkling Wine/Champagne listed as a tasting. I am very excited about the mojito tasting. Had a mango mojito yesterday. The drink was $10 - welcome to NY! Nice to only have to pay $15 for a tasting of several versions.

THank you! Had dinner at the Lighthouse - I think it is in Nyack or Piermount. Nice view of the Tappan Zee but it was an interesting drive getting there.
