Hello All!

My and our friends just booked tonight!:banana::banana:
We are so excited! This will be our 4th Disney cruise and our friends' first.
In my family, it is me (DW), DH, & DS (who will be 4 at the time of sailing). This will be DS's 3rd cruise. He is a cruising baby.

Our friends are a party of 4 - DH, DW, their DD (who will be 4 at the time of sailing), and DS ((who will be 8 at the time of sailing).

Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Boy, do I have a lot of reading to do. You have been a chatty bunch. :)

Welcome aboard!

Our boys will be 9 and 6 at cruise time :)

...And with any luck little K will actually stay awake at dinner time!

ROFL, I was just gonna ask this question. He was so cute! Especially the time he was sitting in his chair, and then just quietly disappeared from sight as he slid down asleep. If you don't get the main dining, he won't stand a chance LOL.

Looks like Kristin is buying then!! ;)

She's got the blender!!!

And I will be content with my bottle of water!! LOL
How is Nancy doing tonight??

Always room on the table for your bottle of water Candy!

Morning Everyone! I am headed out to work early here in just a bit but I just had to post that we are only

521 Days Until Our Cruise!

Happy Friday!
Jen

Happy Friday, another gloomy day here, but if it gets rid of this snow, I can deal!!! At least it's not cold!

Good Morning All! Is it morning already? It seems like I just went to bed three hours ago. Oh wait! I did. DS did not have a good night. I heard him stirring last night before I went to bed and then heard him call "Mommy". You know the Mommy where you know something is wrong. I went to his room and found him standing up covered in chunks of what he ate for dinner. I apologize in advance for being gross early this morning but it was everywhere - on his bed, pajamas, blankets, and floor. Let the clean up begin. DH handled the bedroom by shampooing the carpet. I had to strip the bed and give DS a bath. We slept in the guess room. Where he kept me up most of the night. He begged for something to drink because he was so thirsty. Gave him some pedialyte and he threw that up. Another clean up but that was in the bathroom. Then hours later he asked for water. Gave him a little bit at a time. He seemed okay with it until he laid his head on my pillow and then proceeded to spew. He did not want to go back to sleep. he told me he did not want to throw up anymore and that he was a big boy. I felt so bad for my LO. I rocked him for a long time and then laid him in bed. I found him laying on the floor sleeping this morning. :sad1: Now he is in the bed with his daddy. I am out getting my car taken care of it. I just called his daycare and told the secretary that DS would be out sick today. She said let me guess he has a stomach virus. She told me it is going around. Don't you just love how germs spred throughout daycare. I know I just joined the thread so apologies for going on and on ... I am so tired.

Poor little guy! No apologies necessary, I think we have all been there! Mine are a little older, so they don't quite get like that anymore, but boy did I put in my time. I also did daycare, so I got it from other peoples kids too LOL.

Hi Marsha,

No apologies necessary.....Mine had it not too long ago. Don't you just love how they feel the need to get sick in the middle of the night?? That is always the way it is in our house too.

Poor little guy this stomcah-virus that is going around is really bad. I hope he feels better really soon!!

Thank you everybody for the warm wecome & get well wishes for DS. So far, he is doing better today and there have been no incidents.

I am still reading all of the posts. I am enjoying it thoroughly. I feel that I need to give a little introduction so you will know a little about us. As I said earlier we are a family of 3. DH, DS2 and I. We live in So. MD. I remember seeing someone else from SO. MD so :wave2: neighbor. I had no intention on living in MD as I am a Jersey girl, southern Jersey to be exact, just few minutes drive to Philly. Graduated from Rutgers Univ. Planned on living in NJ close to my parents. But plans do change.

Where I live now is nowhere near city. We would have to drive at least 45 minutes to get to the mall. But, I have grown to like it. Marriage brought me here. Since I was just graduating and DH already had a job it was the logical thing to do.

We are loooking forward to this cruise. Our first cruise was in 2002. We did the Land & Sea cruise for our honeymoon and have talked about cruising again. We finally cruised again last Sept. on the Disney Wonder for the member (DVC) cruise. We are officially hooked. I am so glad this is a double dip cruise. The member crusie was one too. DS loved Castaway Cay and loved playing in the water with his dad.

I am definitely looking forward to getting to know all of you. This seems like a fun group.

How was the DVC cruise? We would love to do a DVC cruise but with it being in September and school it makes it hard................

We really enjoyed it. We are goin again this September and bringing our parents along this time. The gifts were great, the entertainment top notch, and CC was fantastic. It was great cruising with a bunch if DVC members who understand your love of Disney.

Sounds like fun! But school is the issue for me too.

hi all. CRAZY busy week here. raced home from work and now I am packing for all of us to go to Tess' baskeyball tournament in Chicopee, MA. Thought i would have time to write an email to jen but just got a call from my parents - something tripped the alarm at their house (they are in WDW!!) and i have to head down to shut it off and make sure all is alright (the police will meet me there...) AARGH.
Have a great weekend everyone. I'll catch up when I get back...
Jude

PS Welcome, Marsha!!!

It will be an issue for us when DS starts school. That is why we are enjoying the member cruise now. We have only been members since Feb. 2008 and we are thoroughly enjoying our membership. Plus, the incentives they offer on the cruise cannot be beat. It is really dangerous if you suffer from addonitis.

Since when does school impact your DVC trips?!? :rotfl:

Seriously - do it now while they're young, because missing school down the road is a major hassle.

LOL, it is getting harder and harder to pull them out!!

I wish the DVC Cruise was not in Sept. If it was Oct. it would be easier to pull them out. Kind-of hard having them be in school for one week then taking them out for a Cruise!!!!!!
