...feeling pretty cruddy too. And Kevin has strep. :scared1:

Kristin - have a great time!! We watched the HGTV special showing the holiday decorations at WDW - wow, it looks beautiful. Glad you had such a nice visit with your friend. ..possible snow here tomorrow so enjoy the sun!!!
Tell the girls and Bruce we said hi and have fun!!!!:cheer2:

Emily said that Kevin has strep...hope you do not get it! I am just worried that with both kids having H1N1 and pneumonia that we still have bad germs in the house.

We watched the HGTV special too and it was so cool to see. We have been there once at Christmas (just Paul and I) and we swear we need to take the kids to see it...it is so beautiful!

Hope you feel better soon!

I am sorry that your feeling cruddy...I know I love all of the decorations................

Trimmin' the tree today :)

Morning Harry! Have fun with the tree! Do you put up a real one or a fake one?

Ours is an 18' real tree...makes trimming a bit challenging! :rotfl:

Today I have to work on report cards for my students...YUCK!

Enjoy your day!

Wow! We had a 12 foot real tree a few years back and that was a challenge, I can't even imagine 18! Where do you get it? And how do you get it home LOL?

This weather stinks by the way!!! I want last weekend back!

We cut the tree down...there is a tree farm in Stillwater that we go to each year. The tree only cost us $45...they wrap it up and throw it on our van! We probably needed the red flag on the back for how far it stuck off! :rotfl: I did post photos of it at the bottom of our family/member page on the website!

The weather does totally stink. I do not like it at all...I have the fireplace going and still feel chilled today.

We the BEST day today at MK....There were no crowds at all.

We got on every ride more than once with no wait at all it was AWESOME!!

Then when we were getting on Big Thunder Mountain Mark Kelly Ripa's husband and there son got on too. When we got off the ride we saw Kelly and her son, daughter and parents, we got some good photos of them. They were doing the park today since the taping of the Christmas Parade got postponed until tomorrow.

It was such a fun day then we headed over to the GF to see the Christmas tree there and Gingerbread house. Such FUN!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Sounds like another GREAT day! :cool1: That is too bad the parade was postponed...it is wonderful that you did not have any wait time on the rides though!

I love that you are giving the updates! Tell the family hello and keep having a great time!

ummmmm..... I walked through a slushy and icy mall parking lot and got my socks soaking wet...... when I was getting off the mall escalator I saw, ummmmm... no one except a toothless individual ringing a Salvation Army bell - I didn't take any photos though... :rotfl::rotfl:

seriously... glad to hear you are having a good time :)

"I give you the Griswold family Christmas tree....."

Exactly! We take a long car ride as a family...filled with Christmas carols....get out and trudge through the woods and suddenly...the sun come out and lights the exact tree we need.

You should see when we release the netting and all the branches come flying out inside the house - I always under-estimate how much of the room the tree is going to take.

Finally, after taking the advice of the Griswold's...we always check for squirrels!!! :rotfl:

Good Afternoon My Fellow Cruisers,,

This morning my dad and the kids and Bruce went to AK.....

My mom and I went to MK and saw the Jonas Brothers perfrom in front of the Castle for the Christmas Day Parade.....They sang four songs...It was AWESOME!! I have some video of it and will post it tonight....

Also, we were part of the parade look for us on Christmas Day...We saw Kelly Ripa again. Then we saw the floats, and the dancers coming down Main Street USA!! Such FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Sounds like you all having a great time at the World.

I am sooooo exhausted. I've been working OT covering for 2 people who are on vacation for 2 weeks. 47 hours last week, looks like it will be the same this week. I'll have worked 12 days in a row once it's all over with. Fortunately I was able to bring some work home over the weekend instead of having to make the 40 min. commute. But, after working 5 hours yesterday between loads of laundry and just getting home a little bit ago from the groceries I sure do not want to finish what I brought. :sad2: Probably have 4 - 5 hours left. There's not enough coffee in the world right now for me.

Ok, yes, I know I'm whining. Just had to vent a bit. Thanks for letting me.

Wishing the cruise was tomorrow......April

would love to see so of the photos
really want to visit some time at Christmas time

Santa arrives at our house at 7PM tonight.... it's a surprise for the kids (we have one "believer", one that's on the fence, and one that doesn't believe - we just don't speak about it <LOL>).

The long story short - last December 23 there was an "incident" with the mall Santa. We had the standard pictures done & purchased on a prior trip. DD wanted to see Santa one last time before XMAS so we waited in line, etc. etc.
We told the "elf" we weren't buying pictures... just needed a moment with Santa. DW then asked if she could snap a photo with her camera. The elf said no problem; however, a clearly weary and cranky Santa felt otherwise... He dropped DD to the floor, started yelling, and tried to grab the camera! I was about 20 yards away with my boys.... mall security was called... Santa ended up getting canned!

The company that runs the Santa thing promised us a personal, home visit from Santa..... and here we are almost a year later! Fingers crossed!

Say hello to the family again today!!!!

Hey April!

Feel free to whine and vent here...I do it often! :rotfl: I am sorry that you are working such long hours - it is no fun. I have been working on lesson plans and report cards all weekend and have several hours left of work so I feel your pain.

I think we all wish this cruise was a bit closer...We are going to have to start some sort of coping program for all of us to get through the next 617 days!

Good Luck with your work! I will be thinking of you as I work...:sad2:

In our family, things are a little different. We go to Bob's tree farm the day after Thanksgiving...christmas music playing, everyone singing, counting all the trees on the roof of passing cars.
Then we get to the farm, everyone fights over which tree we should get, DH threatens the kids, we pick a tree and drive home in silence.

You got to love traditions:santa:
