Your siggie is too long...try to move the Dream ticker to the right of the Med one

I did notice that. Glad I was able to figure out how to move them side-by-side. I am on information overload here. Time for a coffee break.

Good Morning All - Whoops noticed the time and it is already 1pm - where does the time go???:rotfl::rotfl:

This am went to a pancake breakfast at the fire house - my husband is a volunteer - and there was a craft fair. NEVER take your girls to a craft fair :rotfl2::rotfl2:

About the FE's - the cruise we took in August 2009 was our first. We did the FE and learned a few things

1) People are soooooo creative
2) I would bag the gifts by cabin this next time
3) Some people gave a gift per family others for the parents and each kid
4) We each had an assigned day and just gave out once. Jen even did up a map with all the cabins listed:worship::worship:
5) People are SOOOOOO Creative

We are going to see the Michael Jackson Movie later today after laundry - UGGHHH and stuff is done. I really am excited for my girls to see where some of the dance moves came from.

I think we need to set up a poll to decide on the name - not sure how to do one but if anyone knows . . . . .

Janeanne

Alright - I got up this morning and checked our thread - pretty good since I was all caught up.

Then, I went and did all my Saturday morning errands. I come back and find that I am missing all these conversations! Note to self...don't leave the house!:lmao:

Okay, I love all the names. I think we should set up a poll.

I will post fish exchange information tonight on the website for people who want some more details on that. On our last cruise, each family delivered 1 times to each of the families on the list. It worked out good. I will say that I had all our gifts packaged, labeled and put in order so it went really quick for us to deliver.

I plan on spending a bit more time on the site later tonight and will try to get as much done as possible. I feel bad that it takes me so long to get some of the pages started up. If only I didn't have to work, or clean the house, or tend to the family....:rotfl:

Happy Saturday everyone!

I agree on the poll....

I still need to get you our info for the site (thanks again for taking care of all of this)... I figured I'd let you get through all of the work you are doing with it first (seems like a lot) - we're in no hurry!

There is so much to do on CC or you can do nothing at all....There are things that you can sign up to do on CC-like stingray adventures, etc.
I have heard a lot ot Great things about Atlantis....

Nassau never impressed us.... with so much to do (or not to do!!) on CC we are probably not going to waste time & $$$ in Nassau. DW will probably want to get off and do some quick shopping, but that will be about it.

On the very first DVC member cruise (this was the one that the boat was only partially DVC for the 10th anniversary) we were chosen to be in a Disney photo shoot. We were taken all over Nassau in a carriage, etc.

Heard good things as well about Atlantis.

I have to say we were not impressed with Nassau either.....

Ohh, the carriage ride sounds nice!!

Did you guys book with Carol??

Carol, said that she would find out as more information was released about the Dream as to what DCL would be offering!!

Hey Steve and Lisa!

We're over in Rensselaer County, yeah, I know the signature says Albany! Looks like we'll be close cruise buddies! The Dream will be our 9th cruise. We're booked for Aug 2010 on the Wonder, the price is nutts!!! I agree we might dump it and go with RCCL.

Michele and Eric

Someone else from East Greenbush!!! We booked yesterday!! Feel free to PM me - for some reason, my PM kept freezing!!!!

This is our 3rd DCL cruise - me, DH, DS (will be 16), DD (will be "almost" 12!)

Nassau never impressed us....

I've heard this numerous times.....can anyone explain why Nassau is boring? No sense to plan anything there if there's really nothing to do.

The only thing I'm aware of is Atlantis and not sure if we'd stop there or not? Is Atlantis something that everyone should do/see "just once" or it's not really that thrilling?

Thanks!

Just booked this cruise as the first leg of a B2B. Seems like everyone already knows each other already...
It will be only me (single mom) and DD (11 at the time). Looks like everyone's ready to P-A-R-T-Y - and so am I!!!!:cool1:
